The final frontline of 35yo Cavani (2 goals this season), 37yo Ronaldo, and Rashford (5 goals), supported by Juan Mata (158 minutes all season) was painful to watch. In fact they still had Telles taking the set pieces, so you wonder what Mata’s purpose actually was. Incredible how a club of United’s size can let their squad decay like that.

Mata was utterly immense for us in the Three Amigos year (I can't even remember who the other two amigos were, Hazard and someone?) before Mourinho came and ruined him. Never been anywhere near that for United.
The Three Amigos just make me think more favourably of the Useless Brothers, easily my favourite attacking combination of the era.
