I don't like this game.
I don't like this game.
This has been a mental turnaround.
18 more points needed for a playoff record.
Wait, BOB was actually thinking of punting there?
The HoF president has taken to surprising past coaches on air, to inform them they've made the HoF.
This is 2015 coming all over again.
Russell Wilson is unreal. He’s going to win this on his own.
I never dreamt that sack of shit Graham would be one of the players to come up big in this one. 3rd and long was the winning of it all night.
I can't believe they didn't have a camera angle from the other side of the field on that 3rd down. He looked clearly a half yard short on it.
The yellow line looked more off to me. The view where you can see the marker showed it was probably a first down, not enough to overturn it anyway.
That said, I hope it was short and I hope Pete Carroll is absolutely seething.
ESPN are apparently preparing to offer Romo ALL the money to go to them from CBS.

And in other news Denver are trying to get Shurmur as OC which seems a decent move.
National championship game tonight gents. Lsu Clemson on espn. I’ve got it set to record and will watch it in a day or two.
Praying for an Lsu win. They’re due one and Burrow has been worthy. TLaw could go off though. Hopefully a cracker.
It's probably a bit late but can we get this Hall of Fame curator guy into the Wrestling Biz?
Him v Andre in the squared circle would have been all-time.
The refs were spotting the ball appallingly all weekend but that Packers game took the piss. What with their 3rd down conversion rate and the friendly official crew they're going to get absolutely rinsed by the 49ers next week, sadly.
A Chiefs v 49ers game is probably the best bet for entertainment and closeness. I feel any mix in of the others would lead to a one sided game one way or the other. That being said, anyone but the Chiefs from here.
The Mahomes bandwagon is already annoying as it is, we do not need him getting a ring. And I'm saying that even though it is Andy Reid.
In terms of who I'd like to win:
Titans
Niners
Packers (a long way down from the other two)
Chiefs.
Bound to be a Packers/Chiefs final now with the Chiefs winning.
I'd agree with that Mahow.
Derrick Henry getting a Super Bowl ring would go nicely alongside his MINDGAMESBOWL win over Thommo in our Yahoo fantasy league.
I just want the AFC champs to win.
Unless the 49ers walk it I reckon it should be an entertaining superbowl, none of the other participants seem overly bothered with defending (maybe harsh on Tennessee). So in all likelihood San Fran will just shut it down.
It needs to be the Chiefs if it's to be entertaining. SF would shut down Tennessee handily enough.
I'd have taken hand and all off if you'd told me the Packers would reach the NFC championship game though with a new (and completely unheralded) coach and one receiver, even if they are taken apart on Sunday. Still reckon they should have went out and got a receiver when they had the good start with Rodgers' career tailing off so badly as that could be the window closed, but it's been a class season.
Worst 13-3 team ever
The guy writing about Chiefs / Texans for the Guardian has got a bit giddy and seems to be suggesting a more traditional pocket passer cannot possibly win against a mobile quarterback.
We'll just ignore the last five Super Bowls obviously because mobile QBs were only invented this year seemingly.
Wentz was pretty mobile until all parts of his body started failing. Is he still?
Having not read the article, presumably the point is that the 'emerging talents' or 'direction of travel' for QBs in the league, and coming out of college, is towards these more 'dynamic' chaps to the point where it might be hard to find a classic pocket passer if that's the way you want to go (other than the existing ones).
Then Jimmy G wins the superbowl.
He is, but he doesn't have a play-off win to his own name yet. He did put in great work in the Superbowl season, but we all know it wasn't him getting it over the line. A shame really because that's always going to be there against him now.
[The idea that peak Manning or Brady would struggle now is just absolute nonsense. Yes ideally you'd like a guy who can do both but a good coordinator will work with what he's got and if that means a very talented quarterback but one who you need to create good protection for then so be it.The non-mobile quarterbacks who win strictly with their arm, playing with rhythm and tempo, are now dinosaurs. You cannot win with Brady (or at least the early, non-pocket mover edition rather than his current incarnation) or Manning anymore. The game is too fast, and defenders and defenses are too versatile, too complex. Nowadays you need a quarterback who can improvise, break the script every once in a while, and isn’t afraid to make risky throws. You need a Watson or Wilson or Rodgers.
Kuechly has announced his retirement at 28.
Also, Netflix are releasing an Aaron Hernandez documentary tomorrow.
Luke Kuechly has, seemingly, just retired.
Either his body is starting to tell him to stop, or he's had some concussions and been checked out now the season is over.
A shame to see him go as he clearly wants to keep playing.
Wow, that massively sucks Panthers have stolen Joe Brady away from LSU as well, so I look forward to all the futile speculation of them trading up for Burrow.
On the opposite side of the coin to Luke, Larry Fitzgerald is back for one more year

Further supports the Tua to Dolphins rumours.
SEETHING.
I haven't seen him play but his numbers don't exactly scream HOF although it is funny that he's the only guy on offense of the 70's Decade team that isn't in the HOF.
Lsu
Burrow
Kuechly
The Texans
Pearson getting what he deserves for his shitty speech in the Philly draft.
Just watched the first 2 episodes of the Netflix Aaron Hernandez documentary, the guy was (obviously) messed up and there's a lot in it that I didn't know at the time.
I know that following his suicide he was diagnosed with CTE but I wouldn't have been surprised if he had done most of it even if he hadn't suffered from brain trauma.
Yeah I'm interested to watch that. I looked up that story again the other day and had totally forgotten the homosexuality thing as well.
Warrant out for Beckham Jr
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...ell-beckham-jr
I thought the warrant thing was a joke
Carries a maximum of 6 months and a $1000 fine.
They shouldn’t have all been knobs to a police officer, but putting out an arrest warrant for OBJ is laughable.
It would have been amazing, however, if the guy had immediately turned round & cuffed him in the locker room.
Antonio Brown's agent has 'conditionally terminated' their relationship. He seriously needs help. The more I see of his crazy actions, the more I think back to that huge hit to the head he took from Burfict in the playoffs.
I’d love to know how many involved in LSU wanted that twat around in the first place. The win wasn’t about him no matter how much he wanted to make it.
So, by the start of next season LSU will have lost:
- 'Passing Game Co-Ordinator' Joe Brady (now OC for the Carolina Panthers)
- Defensive Co-Ordinator Dave Aranda (expected to replace Matt Rhule as the head coach at Baylor)
- Starting QB Joe Burrow
- Starting RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire
- Starting WR Justin Jefferson
- WR Derek Dillon
- TE Stephen Sullivan
- Starting LT Saahdiq Charles
- Starting LG Adrian Magee
- Starting C Lloyd Cushenberry III
- Starting RG Damian Lewis
- Starting DT Rashard Lawrence
- DT Breiden Fehoko
- Starting EDGE K'Lavon Chaisson (probably, I don't think he's actually declared yet)
- Starting LB Patrick Queen
- Starting CB Kristian Fulton
- Starting S Grant Delpit
Odd aren't looking great for a repeat.
He wants to fight that absolute tosspot Logan Paul but look at his hand speed and movement.
