I thought 'being in the right place at the right time' (like Lampard) was his main quality, although admittedly I haven't seen all that much of him.
He does arrive late to the box very well but he just is not suited to being in a team expected to retain the ball often. Certainly struggles receiving the ball on the turn and just a bit clumsy. Crystal Palace were perfect for him.

Goalkeepers, defenders, more defenders, full backs, and motorcycle outriders.
Injuries to our [Hull City] wonderkid and, more recently, experienced holding midfielder (in a friendly against Nicaragua last week) have resulted in the 25. The 4 keepers is very peculiar though, maybe we want 2 training games on the go. Either way, the master clearly doesn't respect the 26 format and who is anyone to doubt him.
