On to the swaps later for me. I have pretty good teams for the one league stuff but I fear I’m going to be buying a lot of Italians and Spaniards at extortionate prices to do the one league stuff.
CSL Silvers and UCL cards are going to be a killer to me too.
I have found people are just using whatever shit they have (me included for Italy). So if you have anything decent you should be in good shape.

In better news I finished off the Silver & CSL objectives for swaps and from the two 75+ rare player packs I got Harry Kane and Luis Suarez.
At least Lamps gets into my Icon team.
If they ever make it an objective to win games using a team of icons I'm set.

Kroos is out for an 83, 84 and 85.
Looks like he'd turn like an oil tanker. Shame, as he'd be useful for linking hybrids together.
80 and 87 isnt too bad. Better than players like base Fernandes, though he is Lean.
Stick a Finisher on that Kroos and you've got a disgustingly good CAM.
5* weak foot is great too. His base passing is basically perfect.
A shadow gives you the ideal box to box CM. He'd be a reasonable price too if Fodda wasn't through the roof for some reason.
I have done two of the segments, doing the big one to use a dupe Sancho.
Also hopped back on the Fofana/Renier grind. Unlocked the 84 Fofana and got 5 of the Reinier wins while getting those assists. Shouldnt be be too bad to finish over the next week or so.

I dont understand some people
I played some proper dickheads last night. I'm doing the Fofana objectives (so just need an assist) so don't really care about the wins and people are trying their utmost to stop me scoring, even if I let them through to score for whatever objective they need. They then follow up with a shitty message, which is always tragic. Imagine going through all that effort.
Which player is everyone taking at Level 15 & 30?
Just reached Level 15 and I'm between Waldschmidt and Senesi. Think I'll go for Sessegnon at 30 too, stats look amazing.
Took Senesi at 15, but it was a toss up between him and the German. Sess looks great, so may take him, just annoying I already have John Barnes.
There are some special individuals when it comes to the friendly modes. The ones that pause it for you are the worst because you know what's coming next. If you dare to equalise there's usually a quit. Every goal they score after their first comes with full, 4 player dancing celebration.
I played one last night that did this to go 3-0 up. I stayed and put on a very high pressure tactic and managed to turn it around to 5-3. Unfortunately I knackered my players out doing this and was powerless to stop him when he did the same. He won 6-5 in extra time and immediately messaged me to tell me he didn't even need the win. GG dickhead I only needed the through ball one so your anger is wasted energy. "that's karma for not quitting at 1-0"

Senesi and Sessegnon for me. I already have players who are pretty much as good in each of those positions but figure the English links might be useful if there's another objective.

Ended up taking Senesi. I have basically zero Liga NOS specials to add Waldschmidt to, whereas my Eredivisie squad is now pretty good - Senesi, Baumgartl, Gravenberch, Malen, Robben, Klaiber....
Might be worth a WL run in the future.

Gameplay (online and off) has been so shit for me lately and there's so much delay and lag that I genuinely thought my controller was broken.
I had selected Tav there and my analogue stick was pointed in the attackers direction.
In the same game I also had defenders that I wasn't controlling just randomly bombing forward when my opponent had the ball. I keep getting players just moving where they want, slowing down, passing in the opposite direction etc etc.
I'm even getting this in Squad Battles.

Given it's March next week I think that's how they've decided to deal with the Bruno Fernandes shaped elephant in the room.
Was getting worse so I tested it in NBA 2K21 (I had earlier done so on Little Big Planet and it was fine) and I seemed to be getting drift every time I was holding down R2. Reset the controller and switched it from Bluetooth mode to USB and back again and it seemed fine on NBA plus in practice arena but it's going against in FUT even on the menus.
Guess I'll be ordering a new controller and getting on the phone to Sony to fix this one.
Finished up the One League stuff. Serie A and La Liga were okay, but I was heavily reliant on the big player in the team. CR7 or Loan TOTY Messi. That was pitiful compared to Ligue 1 though. I needed to buy some players to put on the bench, but in the starting lineup I had Loan Mbappe, Red 87 Ben Yedder, HL Bamba, HL Toko and HL Rafinha with Freeze Aouar and FS Bruno Guimares. I started with my first game at 1:50 and had the swap token at 2:13. I've yet to use Neymar properly but Mbappe just blitzed everyone away.
I then bought CSL silvers and am halfway through that so I'll be up to 5 tokens by the end of tomorrow. 1 more WL win gives me a 6th and then I can either do one of the One Nations or the UCLs. Deco should be mine by the weekend.
I've got 5 tokens so far. Done Spain/Italy and the SB games. Will bash through the league ones today/tomorrow.

As expected, nothing in the rewards or red picks. Starting to grate a little. I took untradeables so in 4 Rare megas, 2 megas and a rare gold pack I got 1 card over 83.
I took untradeables to flesh out the Spanish/Italians in the club to save me buying loads. I got a large amount of the former to the point I can give that a crack tonight.
Now I have the decision to make. Curtis Jones expires tomorrow and I could just about do it(I'd likely take his LM). El Shaarawy I could definitely do and both have big sentimental value. Do I do one of them or just keep the stuff in the club?
Seems like the servers are fucked - I've not been able to get into the game all morning.
Thought you'd be all over that Jones, GF. His CM card looks a beast - I kinda feel like the winger will drop below the power curve much quicker (Sessegnon isn't too far away from it and he's free).
I’d love the CM version but I have no idea how I’d fit him in with what I have.
