Bad decisions/policies are not necessarily driven by lack of intelligence. I'd guess that all 650 in parliament, and most of those who work for them in the back offices, are smarter than Gary Neville. Everyone in your line of work will be too.

They're fun, but it's a proper end-of-times idea. I personally wouldn't bother to support a team representing the PL, then there's bound to be bias in choosing the team, which would have an effect on player values. There's also potential injuries which would cause drama and legal issues, plus the fact the matches mean fuck all and would just highlight the mercenaries. It's ultimately pointless for anyone but children and Asians.

All star games sound fun, but it realty they are pretty dreadful due to the lack of competitiveness. The NBA all star game is absolute crap because no one defends or even attempts to be aggressive. It's a clown show.
If they can find a way to ensure some level of competitiveness, bring it on.
