You have to go back to Bruce's time at Hull (2012/13 & 2013/14 seasons) to see the last time he did well and improved a side. He got them promoted and then kept them in the prem, which is obviously an achievement, but since then he's done nothing. It seems to just be Man Utd fans and people that love an argument defending Bruce.

I'd love that. Namely because you'll get underachieving big clubs (that still manage to achieve something and a midfield/relegation scramble with lots of 'teams that play the right way'. Bruce has a limit and it is your Wigan's, Hull's, Sunderland's and the like. He even fit for where we are as a club under Ashley. He was never going to be liked, though.
