Apparently Kane is coming as an SBC/Objective for TOTGS.
Packed his gold dupe untradeable today. So that going to block packs for a little. I have a Lewa I need to save from the gulag tomorrow too.
Club is begging for a massive SBC but I am not fully set on Zidane.
For my playstyle, Trailblazers Kane should be mega for me. I like big Strikers with excellent passing but he just isnt it. Some cards have secret stats. Gold Haaland makes some crazy runs against the defenders. Its like he has a playstyle called "tries to beat the offside trap". He can't pass though.
Kane can pass but he does not make those defense-splitting runs. If Kane comes, ill get him and try him again and try agian

Ahha. Maybe ill try him on conservative interceptions. I use that on balance fullbacks so they run back into position once they are forward. Not sure if it works that way though.

I haven't had a chance to use him all that much but he's been good so far. Other option you have is either Eusebio or wait for the new POTM Mbappe.

This "Pep's Legacy" Evo is a bit nuts. Can get Shaw/Malacia up to a decent level or even Gold Cancelo into a 5/5 beast. Not sure which to go for
Mbappe done, but having just gone into the Winter Wilcard cup I don't know why I bothered - I've never been worse as a FIFA game than this one.
4 losses and 1 solitary win, which was a game I should have lost. My players all congregate in the centre of the pitch no matter what I do with the width setting so I have no space to work in, they make utterly retarded runs, offer no passing options whatsoever and lose the ball if they so much brush against an opposition player. As for my opponent, they seem to be all over the pitch at once, have acres of space and are impossible to get the ball from. It's like I'm playing a different version of the same game.
Any tips welcome.

How do you guys go about creating space in the box? Mbappe is obviously mustard, but as my furthest player forward he's constantly marked so hard that when he does get the ball in the box the option I have 9/10 is to take a shot that will inevitably get blocked.
SB Legendary or people who can actually defend in rivals is where this is most apparent.

Best way to get numbers up is either triggering runs short/long and also Player Lock runs to get into spaces outside of the AI pathing
Against human left stick dribbling with no pace button being held is often enough to wriggle enough space.
The AI fall for the bait less often, especially on legendary. So its mostly about moving the ball across the box until a space opens up.
Ta. I think I'm getting a bit better now. One thing I cannot get down at all though is player switching. What in the fuck is up with this? The left bumper doesn't pick who you want and the right stick, well, I've no idea what that's meant to be doing.
Never is this more present than at corners, where by the time I've fumbled control to my tallest player their tallest player has twatted it into the net.

Yeah, it's mad. I've finished SB this week, played about 10 games in rivals and cheesed Alaba to a 93 and I'm still bennefitting from the match coin unlocks.
That's the cup finally done. Don't get the benefit of my super team in it so was quite pleased to close it out with three wins tonight. Feels like it's made me a better player over the course of the week, albeit at the cost of several burst blood vessels. I think I had about two easy games from however many I've played to get the 10 wins. Everyone else was either disgusting at left stick dribbling (why isn't this just dribbling?), pressing, countering, or all three combined.
Have you/anyone used Eusebio? I'm torn between doing him or Gullit
He's on the list, but got 7 squads left on Zidane to do first and I'm wavering as I suspect TOTY cards will leave his 18 squads looking seriously overpriced.
If it helps, Gullit is good but he's going to be behind the power curve within weeks. Cards with mid 80s for everything are ten a penny these days, compared to when Gullit was first in the game, albeit he does have good playstyles.
Oh and on Eusebio, I also packed Butragueno from the centurions Icon pick SBC which has cooled me on him somewhat.
Does anyone else dread opening an untradeable Jumbo Rare Players Pack for all the dupes and no decent cards it will inevitably bring? Mad when you consider how sought after they once were.
