Mainoo with an excellent showing on his first start.

Oi Ben, where you at bitch?
United are back!
Everton look like they've got a bit of a rough run of games coming up, mostly at home too. Bring on the seethe.
Everyone also needs to be doing their patriotic duty and be dropping points to Luton every now and then.
My god that Garnacho goal was pure filth.
Yeah, it was something else.
lol at Dyche and his "doubt he'll do it next week" shade.
Dyche only recognises set piece goals and those that burst the net from a yard out. Everything else you haven't worked hard enough for.
Dyche is just a bitter cunt. Still hasn't made peace with getting dumped out of the FA Cup semi finals in 1997 with Chesterfield after a refereeing error.
Apparently it's a 2 game ban for calling Anthony Taylor a bald cunt.
Obviously a truth based defence isn't applicable to that sort of thing.
I thought it was ‘he just called me a fucking bellend’ but lip reading was hard. Both equally justified
He knew he'd fucked up too. The way he put the hand up as an apology in a bid to get out of it whilst hastily retreating to the penalty area just smacked of guilt.
A more fitting punishment in the rotation era would be to force someone to play the full 90 minutes for the next, say, 10 games. Can't sub him off, and if he's not fit, unlucky, you've got to play with ten.
MotD didn't really give it much coverage, but on the couple of angles they did show I had no idea what the Forest penalty was actually given for.
The one given at the other end was equally shit, great decision Anthony, but at least you could sort of see what the foul might have been.
Who are we talking about? I'm guessing by the Forest reference it's Dunk?
Yeah, he's just been given a 2 game ban for the above [alleged] slur.
Baaaaalllldddyyyyyy.
Paddy McGuinness clinging on to his dusting of hair all these years later is incredible. He has the money for a transplant, and he would look alright bald; but he chooses the worst option.
This Bellegarde is some dribbler. Great entertainment.
Gary O'Neill must have defecated in Stockley Park's mother's mouth.
Some luck with that first penalty decision but the performance was much improved tonight. Still a big issue at striker but the rest of the team stepped up well.
Might be time to finally phase out Ream though, looked shaky all night and gave away a silly penalty.
The penalties were soft as shit but okay, you can argue for either but Fulham's favela rat getting away with a headbutt just because it was on some hardened gammon who didn't go down is disgraceful.
I think you describing it as a headbutt is more disgraceful. Vinicius is (always) unnecessarily aggressive but he doesn't butt him whatsoever, he just stands up.
I appreciate his legs are indeed activating the muscles which result in his rising to his feet so I won't argue your claim that he is standing up. Not sure what relevance that has though.
FYI
"An aggressive and forceful thrust with the top of the head into the face or body of another person."
It's embarrassing that you need to go down and roll around in order for your opponent to get their deserved red card.
This is the thing, they make "simulation" a bookable offence, but then if you don't exaggerate contact you're not going to get the decision. It's a headbutt, it doesn't matter if he's too soft to do it properly, it's still a red card.
Gary O'Neil giving himself away there. 'My reputation'. I assume he won't be sending refs the same thank you cards when those points inevitably come back later in the season."You can send me flowers. You can ring me to apologise. You can do what you want but we should be on 22 points instead of 15. The difference between 22 points and 15 for the 1000s of supporters who follow this team around the country is huge. The difference between 22 and 15 on my reputation when you’re trying to build at a big club is irreparable."
To be fair to him he's been palming off all the VAR mistakes up until last night as "it'll get evened out eventually" but I think he's just got to breaking point with that penalty and non-red card. VAR have consistently shafted Wolves for a couple of years now, at what point for them does it ever turn around?
They've just lost six or seven tosses of a coin, it can happen.
Quite apt that in that video comparison the player going down like a sack of shit to get someone sent off is a Wolves player.
They have had the rough end of it though. Not just with Howard Webb Apologies™ either. Pretty sure they pioneered the ball travelling backwards but still offside corner routine against Liverpool in the first season of VAR and then they had that one last year in the FA Cup where the active/inactive deliberate/not deliberate ball playing nuances melted the VAR's brain against the same opponent and disallowed their likely winning goal.
Are we talking Pardew levels of headbutt?

This surely portends some looming schism in the spacetime continuum.
Barcola's finishing
Looks worse than Nunez.
This Barcola geezer should have 1 composure on FM based on this cameo.
That's never a penalty.
UEFA can't have PSG losing here.
How long until teams start hiring people with no arms to play in defence?
I count 4 fairly easy chances he had in 15/20 mins. Some effort. Think he only got 1 on target
Still all to play for. Besides, 5 points from this group is more than I honestly expected.
EDIT: Aye, that penalty was harsh as fuck. Tino can't do owt about that.

This season is just a test run but there's still a ridiculous amount of positives. Tonight's result leaves us open to a Bellamy v Feyenoord-esque lastminute bonanza so lets fkn av it.
How has Dembele forged a career at three top European clubs? He seems to have absolutely nothing about him, aside from being kind of fast, but not fast enough to outsprint his full back. Countless bad touches, bad dribbles, miscontrols last night.
Meanwhile PSG bringing on the totally ineffective Asensio and Barcola while Xavi Simons is playing for Leipzig is hilarious.
I don't know if funny is the word, but it is interesting that in the age of VAR domestic and European football appear to have developed quite starkly divergent interpretations of the handball rule [the UEFA one being point blank idiocy] in a manner not entirely dissimilar to how you used to get comments to the effect that "that wouldn't be a foul in the Premier League" when rank corruption was being doled out by some useless referee in a major European tie. Seems odd that UEFA didn't implement their own recommendation that appears to have been followed in England. That was clearly never a handball. Perhaps PSG see it as justice for the one they got shafted by against United a few years ago.
Going to be a proper 80s throwback if this Man Utd game goes ahead. Pitch is already waterlogged 2 hours before kick off
Don’t do youth in Turkey, do they? From 4 of Ziyech, Mertens, Zaha and Icardi.
mon you cunts
Stunning as the youth are getting better at using knifes these days.
