Not sure if it was COVID, but I was getting cramp in my legs last night which made it impossible to sleep. At this stage I just feel knackered and my sinuses feel slightly bunged up. The worst part has been headaches but nothing basic painkillers haven't fixed.
The masks are backfiring today. 35°C inside and I’m not allowed use their canteen to get a drink.

Everyone was lolling about the prospect of these kinds of measures on about page 100 or something. Now they're too busy telling people to wear masks to care. What times we live in. The normal will never return.

So to summarise: vaccines protect the most vulnerable but do absolutely nothing for normal people.

If in 3 weeks I get COVID and end up in hospital at all with it (having had two shots of vaccine more than a month ago) I'll find it hard to think I was given a 'good' vaccine. Do people who've been vaccinated for MMR end up in hospital with any of them?

If you've genuinely had pneumonia twice before the age of 30 and MMR vaccine failure you should probably ask about getting your immune function checked if you haven't already.
There are several people in this thread that have had Covid after 1 or 2 vaccines. You're the only one that's needed the hospital.
The at risk groups are still the at risk groups even after vaccination. Just less so. The lower risk groups will just be even lower risk as time moves on. And Magic will be dead.

We had a fat woman in my old office and she pretty much exclusively wore flip-flops. The flipping and flopping was aggressively loud. I don't know why, or understand the physics of why weight impacts flip-flop volume, but it was dramatic.

I went in a shop today wearing a mask. The girl behind the counter was wearing a mask. The man waiting to be served next was not wearing a mask. I asked her if people were still wearing masks or not today and she just laughed awkwardly. Just me then.
Will probably ditch it eventually but no harm in it for now.
