Might go and get shot in LA just 'cause I can. Pfizer up the airplane.

You'd have to think eventually the efficacy of a vaccine will be the determining factor rather than whether it has been approved for use in a particular region in terms of vaccine passporting, not least because a lot of approval depends on whether something is going to be or can practically be used in a region (ie the Indian made one isn't approved in Europe as they don't have any and there are no plans to have any). You never know though, bureaucracy gonna bureaucracy. The stupid thing about the Indian made AZ stuff is that some of it has been used in the UK, but I believe all UK administered AZ vaccines show up as the approved type (whatever they call it) on the documentation for EU purposes.
I'm sure it's been mentioned in here but I did lol a bit to myself the other week when Frau Merkel had her second jab of a different sort (even though by her own country's guidance she'd have been fine having another AZ) and all the talk was about how these mixed vaccines might actually provide better, more long lasting protection. Remember what was said when whoever it was said about mixing months ago? Bit of a change of tone now that our European overlords are on board with the idea. Dangerous madness I believe was the reportage, turned out to be another piece of inspired brilliance by the JCVI.
I'm happy to staycate until they lose loads of revenue from lack of tourism and reverse everything. Humans gonna human.
Annoyingly I had a year of staycations in the lead up to the pandemic. Get me on a plane!
This shit about production locations is beyond idiotic.
Firstly, the Serum Institute of India is an absolute powerhouse for vaccine production. It ain't some backwater shit hole we're talking about here.
Secondly, it shouldn't matter at all whether or not a traveller to your country has a vaccine approved by your local regulator. If you take that road we're are going to be tying ourselves in knots. If you really have to go down that road, maybe they should consider approvals from strict regulators (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ry_authorities).
NHS using 45 cycles on their PCR tests resulting in 97% false positives? That's the content I'm here for. Enjoy your vaccines, lads.
You never cite sources for anything, do you?
NHS Greater Manchester.
<googles it, finds nothing>
Are you schizophrenic?
All over Twitter, lad.
Can't be that all over if you fail to produce it and I fail to see it.
I'm just like NHS Greater Manchester then lolol
Boomer bloke screaming at a 16 girl at the local Macca's this morning was a heavy start to the day.
Poor girl asked him to show that he had logged in with the QR code before she took his order.

Lockdown will lifted just in time for the footy!
The most Sydney reaction possible.
news.com.au
Crowds of people thronged outdoors in Sydney on Saturday, enjoying “lockdown” and ignoring pleas to stay at home as NSW struggles to contain the Covid-19 Delta strain spread.

@Boydy
I'm impressed that Australia are trying to get rampant covid after such an impressive start. It's like you're managed by Brendan Rodgers and you're trying to throw away the champions League(again).
I'm boring but it is the NSW State Liberals and the Federal Liberals that are laughably shite.
I'm off to the pub.
I stay with family xx
Sitting in your car outside your ex's house doesn't count.
My family x
Work is even worse today than last weekend. This is the first time in paediatrics (and probably second in my career) where I've felt it's genuinely dangerous and where my care of my patients has suffered because we are overwhelmed.
Any parent who calls 111 about a child with a fever seemingly gets sent straight to hospital. A good proportion of the time they phone an ambulance for them. It's insanity.
The schools are absolutely rife with viruses at the moment. Plague Pit stuff.
I suppose 18 months of home schooling / working from home / hyper-clean environments / social distancing / not getting ill isn't particularly good for developing immune systems.
Just the beginning unfortunately mate.
The fear mongering has fucked people up beyond recognition.
Tell us more about those PCR tests you're suddenly an expert on buddy.
I need to get out into the biggest field I can find. I need my hayfever resistance back.
You don't see an AntiVaxx-ZeroCovid hybrid often. Behold, the biggest cunt in Britain:
A bit of history on the Hendra virus from 1994. The bat virus killed a bunch of horses and 4 people.

Vaccine hesitancy among horses.
Everyone involved was rough as guts.
At the ground where I umpired on Saturday, it was part of a wider sports facility and to get to the cricket pitch area you had to go through a main entrance and a corridor of maybe 20 paces before you came outside again. In front of the main entrance there were four huge signs saying WEAR A MASK. I got into the doorway and took my mask out of my pocket, so it was visibly in my hands about to go on. There was a girl there so before putting it over my mouth I said 'How do I get to the cricket pitch please?' and she didn't answer, but started shaking with nerves/fear/anger/something and yelped PUT YOUR MASK ON. I pointed at the mask in bewilderment and put it on, and said something like 'It's fine, it's right here, I'm putting it on'. She then said 'We're expecting a police visit, if you don't have your mask on we'll all lose our jobs'.
1. No you won't.
2. Police visit? Seriously?
3. This is ending in 2 weeks, how will they cope?
4. People are/society is broken.
In a similar vein, I've been invited to a corporate golf day and the list of hoops to jump through to be let in are absolutely ridiculous. It's golf, outdoors.
4 on your list is so true. That week in London opened my eyes to it and once you've seen it you can't un-see it.
Another cracker from SCIENCE on the BBC's live feed.
What level of regulation? Utterly useless.Behavioural psychologist Prof Stephen Reicher, one of the scientists advising the government, tells BBC Breakfast: "Absolutely I agree that people have got to exercise responsibility – but not just personal responsibility, social responsibility.
"We’ve got to act in ways which keep ourselves safe, which keep our families safe, which keep our communities safe.”
He compares wearing masks to driving because it is "one of those areas where my freedom affects your freedom".
"My freedom to drive fast affects your safety. My freedom not to wear a mask affects your safety in terms of not getting Covid," he says.
“In areas like that we recognise we need some level of regulation.”
It's not been a great couple of years for behavioural science.
I wouldn't mind so much if there were ever any tangible and actionable recommendations, but there aren't. Just a load of useless comparisons and proclamations of doom.
Measures are needed, without which we endanger lives.
Is the cunt making the announcement today? I thought it was meant to be the week before.
Next Monday I think.
I'm going to keep my mask solely so I can shove it up the piss pipe of the first cunt that pipes up about them on the 20th.
I was going to have a mass bonfire but soft shites will always be soft so I'm not sure that will be the end of it. I recall seeing the Jews had to reverse their mask freedomz decision, did we overtake them on vaccination coverage or are they just even softer?
It is being announced tonight apparently.
They'll keep something restricted just for appearances sake, but it does look like masks et al are going.
Pathetic.
Close the schools!
I'm a twit
Or stop asking hundreds of kids to isolate every time someone in their year gets ill. Either's fine.
