Overall a bit shit really. No more new league SBCs by the looks of it. A bunch of weird upgrades (zlatan why?) and cards most people can’t afford.

Today's batch of Rivals was horrible. My players were skating all over the place, passing was an absolute lottery and I couldn't finish when I was able to get a chance.
Finished the French Icon Swaps token, taking Bobby Moore and also did Barella's SBC, all with untradeables. Both go into the team.
Politano extra milestone completed. It being another card was something I didnt think about. I guess they really cant "upgrade"
While doing that I am now one chipped assist win away from completing Zaniolo and a few wins away from Osimhen. Even though I wasnt going to bother with them working Politano this way made it worth it.

Been grinding the fuck out of the league SBC's and had to stop to be able to take the new cards as they land, but in doing it it's clearly apparent that even though the pack weight is horrific as long as you're opening enough bronze packs and doing the bronze upgrade packs, you can basically do it forever.
Onana is just as common at 85 as he was at 82. I've packed that fucker like 5 times now since he got upgraded.
Tempted by that Barella card. Purely because I want to get these two dupes used and get into the 20+ packs I have built up (ok 12 are 1/2 players packs but still!)
It seems you lot really enjoy grinding the times based cards. It's that where the real fun is?

I am liking the variety/challenge. Has pushed me to use a lot of players I never would.
I flew though Odegaard but I think Yev hated him too.
Doesn't help that I'm in a major slump right now and playing like absolute shit.
Annoyingly I should have had 4 lofted through ball assists too and yet I'm at 0. Son and Pirlo keep missing easy chances.

The main reason I'm doing all of these cards is so that I'll have different players to use when I carry this game into next year.
And I wouldn't say it's fun Sincere, but there's a sense of achievement when you compete one.

87 Odegaard is about a quarter as good as his stats. I ground it out because the card looked incredible but it didn't take long for me to value him lower than the pack I could get from putting all four of him into the SBC. He has an uncanny knack of being in exactly the wrong place at all times.
Has anyone taken the plunge and turned their bronzes into upgrades from leagues that could have got an SBC but now look like they won't? Scotland, Japan, Australia etc.
I did Korea last night but I'm hesitant to do the rest.
I obviously misread the requirement for 11 players from the same league for the wins.
I haven't taken the plunge yet. I have pretty much completed the Scottish Prem, Belgian Pro League, A-League, J-League, Liga MX and Argentinian league twice over, so I'm remiss to chuck it all away, just in case.

Hoarded around 30 packs over the past week so decided to open them (Will get my SMS and Thiago back from quick sell recovery).

I'm in the same boat, but part of me is tempted to chuck them in just to prompt EA to go ahead and release them. I'd keep the silvers, but with the bronzes alone (which I'd pack again due to opening so many bronze packs) I'm sat on an upgrade goldmine.
It also makes the grind so much easier if we're settled on which leagues have SBC's and which don't.
Did the tradeable OTW SBC earlier, putting in Ndombele and IF Jordan Henderson as the two special cards. Got OTW De Jong out of it, so more than worth it.
I put untradeable Sanchez and untradeable Criscito into the tradeable one and got Joe Linton

French milestone player is out. Since Shōji is gone it’s a whole new card. Looks very good.
The Shaqiri is a good card but I don't like them re-using the same players for different promos.
If it was to be a Liverpool player why not Naby Keita or even a promising bronze/silver player.
He is good but I wouldnt use him over James who was free never mind players like Silva. I am with you, pick someone new. The first two were good picks but shit upgrade. This is a good upgrade but a shit pick.
Someone posted a good selection on Reddit it had Diop, Fleck, Buendia and Højbjerg in it (I think one more too) they would have been sound picks. Someone new.

I've been churning through the league SBCs too, especially with these 3rd players being added. My luck has been a bit better though, IF Volland and Griezmann coming from 10 Serie A packs last night. It's so easy to break even before the pack by buying duplicates on open bid and flipping them for anywhere between 200-1000 more on a cheap BIN.

Agreed. Especially as I did the 84 Shaqiri SBC too.
