I actually quite like the slow pace of the place, and I'd say it reflects better on us. There's only about 30 of us, and if the activity was through the roof it'd be a pretty damning indictment of us as people. My mum likes this stupid hippy trippy wholefood shop here in Rugby, where she'll pop in every couple of weeks to buy some ginger parkin or whatever, but it's mainly an excuse to say hello to the old (and ever decreasing) gang of like-minded losers. This is like, our version of that. Sort of.
Interesting stuff will still generate proper discussion, and despite all the BANTZ and snide remarks, people are still very supportive when it's appropriate I think. Like, we take the piss and try to be funny, but I think the atmosphere and general vibe is fine.
