My Sunday League cancelled.
Toilet paper was out yesterday. People finally panicking, lol.

We should make a 'which TTHer will get it first' poll. The smart money is on Magic, I'd say.
Probably not, but they might feel it for a few seasons.
They were taking staff numbers/contact details today for their essential/non-essential lists, so we're definitely on for a couple of weeks off if the government steps its business up. I offered to work for double money but health and safety fascism wins again.
Huge article, but one that's worth reading.

The tldr message is that every single country where this is present agrees that you need to flatten the curve to allow the up to 20% of people who will need medical care when they contract it to get that care, it's only our country (and possibly the US) that disagrees on how you do that.
If we're wrong, then fuck me.
One of us may well already have had it. The government's 5-10,000 people may have it line yesterday is pure fantasy and they know that.
Spain are stepping things up even further apparently, by rationing goods.
There goes my Spain trip.
So the infected guy who came to my county from New York on that plane yesterday... well a handful of those people on that plane ended up at one of our sister facilities but long story short bc they showed no symptoms there's literally nothing they can do so they sent them home lol
Can't see any of us Top Reds getting it.
The US are closing schools (which I don't necessarily think is a good idea), but as a result we're now standing alone in our approach to this.
Upstairs neighbour has started blasting Lewis Capaldi. Maybe working from home isn't going to be as great as I thought.
Bolsonaro supposedly has it.
I do wonder if these people are now likening themselves to modern day Turing's and Churchill's and have run mad as a result.Majority of people in the UK need to get a mild dose of coronavirus for "herd immunity", chief scientific adviser says
I get the logic behind that quote, but there's no way in hell you can manage that happening in any way that would get a certain and desired result.
Apparently we have 5 ICU beds here, that's it.
I'm currently finding extremely weird the juxtaposition between the whole world shutting down, and, at work, everything carrying on completely as normal. I guess this is our WW2, but this time the conscription is to our sofas.
We're Simon the IT man turning over in the air. We're going to land on our wheels, pull over, and be like what were you worried about?
Proper end of term feel in the office this afternoon. Not confirmed to work from home YET though.
They should have rationed here. Fucking imbeciles.
Irish and Australian panic buying seems to have gone off worse than British. I'd have had us down as the selfish cunts.
Does this mean a cure is imminent?
Ted Cruz quarantined himself and within 24 hours came into contact with someone else with it so has gone back in
Dr Ted Ross has (in not so many words) come out against our strategy, so hopefully that might force them into change.
By the way did we already discuss that there is an excellently-named pandemic specialist man called Dr. Larry Brilliant?
When are today's Italian numbers out?
If the virus does not end one of us from TTH, I will be disappointed.
Found Ted Ross' updates. Make you right Jim, this contradicts significantly what we're doing. I got the impression yesterday we won't even be testing people for much longer."Do not just let this fire burn" - that's what World Health Organization director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned governments at the WHO daily press conference.
He urged countries to “find, isolate, test and treat every case to break the chains of transmission”. Every case found reduced the risk of spread, he said.
More than 132,000 cases have been reported from 123 countries, and 5,000 people have died.
A new fund has been created that individuals and non-governmental organisations and businesses can contribute to for medical supplies and funding.
The WHO reiterated that "every person on the planet" should know the signs and symptoms of coronavirus - fever, dry cough and a sore threat, as well as difficulty breathing for some people.
Ekdal, Colley, La Gumina, and Thorsby from Sampdoria all positive.
I've never seen anyone more interested in anything than Yevrah on coronavirus watch
The more deaths the harder his erection.
Trump to declare national emergency apparently.
Yev in disaster mode is a thing of beauty.
I find it all absolutely fascinating, with the extra frisson that the UK have now introduced making it all the more intriguing.
I'd also say that I have no medical, scientific or epidemiological knowledge whatsoever, but from a purely common sense/bullshit test approach have donned the fuck out of what should have been done early doors and largely continued since.
Imagine how many deaths we would have without you.
Italy doing 5% of the total death toll in a day is good going.
