Good news for Celtic fans.
The Irish gang bosses on Merseyside will put a stop to that.
Does it matter? The gulf between them is really wide.
I can't decide if it's a no-win or a no-lose for him.
Cunt joins cunts. Handy to round them all up in the one spot.
As a bed-wetting guardian reader I obviously favour Celtic to Rangers, but I saw a Celtic fan on my facebook feed saying something like "Gutted, I always thought Gerrard was a class player, never knew he was a Hun" and now I sorta want him to be a roaring success. I think he'll be crap though, talismanic leader on the pitch and single-handedly won games through sheer willpower, but he seemed pretty tactically bereft as a player - if he was barely able to figure out what he was supposed to be doing and where he was meant to be, how's he gonna manage it with 11 fuckers?
Favouring Celtic is literally nonce behaviour.
"Hi there. My name's Steven and employment's so bad up here I had to go to Glasgow for work."
This is so good. When they finish behind Killie.
Their last Catholic manager was a success.
Brave of him to take a step down to try and further his career.
Favouring Celtic over Rangers.
I expect it of the Scousers, but Igor needs to sort his shit out, the self-loathing peado sympathiser.
Exactly. They're both despicable.
Everything about Scotland is equally shit.
Four year deal for Rangers?
Are they alright?
Won't last the season.
If Bodgers leaves this summer and Celtic appoint the left field idiot they appoint every few years, then he could be onto a winner.
Rodgers is still too ruined from his stint at Liverpool to get a step up yet. Nobody will take winning titles at Celtic seriously.
I'd rather we signed an actual manager than a complete punt, but we could definitely have done worse than someone likely to attract players and coaches of a good standard.
He had all the tactical discipline of a pitch invasion as a player, but I don't think that came from a lack of tactical knowledge, rather he just seemed to think he could do it all himself.
Waff hating Rangers more than Celtic makes sense. His club is a tribute act to the other Irish team.
Unless he's been working wonders with the youth team at Liverpool (no idea, but I doubt it) you have to assume the name (and by association ability to get/bung players) is what they are going on, which is probably no bigger punt than appointing some foreign no mark (Caixinha) or a done the hard yards nobody from closer to home. As Bodgers has shown, being able to lure Premier League outcasts/loans and stealing youngsters from England is a strong strategy up there, so maybe Gerrard can help in that regard. Or, you know, maybe he's the next 'Pep'. The next Souness would probably be better, and maybe more apt.
I like both him and Rodgers obviously and I wish they'd both stayed out of the sectarian cesspit that is Scottish football.
It's a testament to how fucking moronic it is that Scotland manages to have the most childish rivalry in a sport full of incredibly childish rivalries.
And exactly the reason they want kept out of the Premier League if there's ever any real talk of it happening.
In a bigger environment their petty squabbling would probably subside to occasional horse punching levels.
There's very little genuine sectarianism these days. You'll get people shouting 'fuck the pope' or 'up the RA' to noise someone up, but it's probably only the most extreme 5% or so who actually mean that stuff.
every last one if you is bathed in it.
Someone doing the flute in an Old Firm Premiership Super Sunday would be the peak of the sport.
"You know, when I came here, even Spurs fans were calling me a breath of fresh air."
He wants that quote at every club he manages. Here's a challenge, Brendan: Sunderland.
You should stop calling it an obsession.
