Like many African sides (and 2nd/3rd tier international sides generally) they are very unbalanced with a wide range of abilities on the pitch, so when someone like this Sabaly at right back is taking 5 yard first touches and leathering crosses out of play, it slows down the tempo that they are able to play at.
Cissé is a good coach who has them well-organised and they rarely concede, only doing so vs Holland because Mendy threw it in. Then they look to individual flair up front, which without Mané is obviously blunted but Sarr looks lively enough.
