Yeah, I'm not big into the Bill Gates' vaccine scene but the way Jeremy Hunt has been banging on about testing the whole country every month come early next year is definitely throwing off some Illuminati vibes.
Strangely enough, this is something I know a bit about. They certainly could test the sewerage for COVID (as many other countries do), but due to factors such as housing density, combined sewers (stormwater/wastewater in same pipes), and general complexity of old sewer systems, it would be very difficult to trace from sewerage testing.
Not to mention if there are loads of cases about, the positive results will tell you very little anyway.

When we locked down the first time we were seeing 15 or so deaths per day. A month later it was 1000 a day. We lock down again tomorrow with 492 deaths per day. Where we're going to be in a month is anyones guess.
Based on that equation, nearly 33,000 deaths per day. No survivors.

Yup. I don't know what our deaths are going to be in 4 weeks (presumably not 33,000 per day), but they are going to pretty fucking high and whilst I get it's all on a 4 week delay, I just can't see how you relax restrictions whilst 1000+ people are dying every day when you've no realistic forecast of what effect this lockdown is going to have.
The only thing complicating it is Christmas. I don't know what they're going to do about Christmas and I don't think they do either. Is it worth extending the subsequent lockdown by three months just so that you can get three days of Christmas in? I would say not, but my observations of people with kids suggest that for those with kids Christmas is basically the be all and end all of human existence, so I don't know.
Yep, if they're prepared to say we're open in four weeks time when the deaths will be far higher than anything we've seen so far then we wouldn't have locked down in the first place.
Boris has no backbone, so I think Christmas will happen in one form or other and it will represent the first time the majority of the public will be happy to put their lives ahead of saving others.

I think this will be it. They will officially leave the rules in place but will tell the police / wardens not to enforce things for a bit and ask people to 'be sensible'.

The majority of people will ignore the restrictions for Christmas anyway.
So they can either accept that, or have the public resent them and/or resist if being stopped.

Apparently police had bottles thrown at them in the next town along earlier in the week when they tried to break up a similar gathering (this is suburban Surrey). Lockdown is creating this dreadful situation whereby there are no honest citizens out and about anywhere and the human sewage run riot in the hole that is left.
