I think I might have had an inclining about the existence of this place from things overheard or some such [probably on the radio], but I have just become more fully aware of its existence and seriously, what the fuck is this? It sounds like one of the worst, most excruciating experiences imaginable.
Rude service is only 'fun' when it's in the Vietnamese Cultural Centre [probably no longer exists] or something where it's not at all put on, but is, in fact, just what the people are like.
Somewhere like Wong Kei would be another example, but apparently no longer reading that. Sad times.
The example I saw of it ages ago was just the waiters going 'Duh hurry up!', and most of them were fat and/or ugly women, so lol at the rules against giving it back to them on easy mode.
