I know you've got there first, but the crux of this is very few people actually believe that a trans Woman is a Woman, otherwise all of these things would be fine. Which makes us all transphobes in the eyes of many, which therefore makes the accusation almost meaningless, yet it's still banded about so much.
I think if really, really pressed on it then most people would be forced to admit that they don't think transwomen are real women, but I also think that the only groups of people who have ever given it any real thought are the trannies themselves, and the so-called 'gender critical' people. Most people just vibe along with it in one form or another, including being terrified to be seen as any-sort-of-phobe, so the ratchet - as always - tends to click in favour of the people who are most insane and willing to bully their way to success, which obviously favours the mentally ill and/or fetishists.

Looking at the names of my daughter's daycare peers I am starting to agree.
I was in sats again this year and had a look at it. It wasn’t that bad: It was awkward, but not overly hard. It didn’t start off with overly easy stuff which they normally do just to get them started, which I think has annoyed people.
Todays maths paper was lovely though, so anyone moaning about them being hard is ignoring todays.

Food prices are surely being artificially inflated by some as we now shop at M&S and it’s the same price as Asda. This wouldn’t have been even close in previous years.
Fuel prices again seem to be inflated by supermarkets. I am filling up at the Shell service station for cheaper than the local Asda. They used to be a good >10p cheaper.
I think the Asda situation is because of the takeover. They seem to have basically given up on being cheap.
Tesco's fucking extortionate these days and clubcard gets you about 20p off a 50 quid shop. I just go to Lidl for most stuff now.

Supermarkets have been cartelling to fuck since the pandemic. Got addicted to those big lockdown revenue hauls. You can just see the strategy meetings where agenda points 1, 2 and 3 are 'How can we keep this going?'

Supermarkets run a high volume, low margin business model, whereas farmers run the opposite. Neither model necessarily equates to ripping people off.
Jim's right mind. Every business did it, but most were eventually stopped by demand for the product (at ridiculous prices) dropping off. The problem when it comes to supermarkets though is that people always need the products, no matter the price.
Which is why we switched to M&S. Someone told my Mrs that it is basically the same price as Asda/Tesco/Morrisons these days and we laughed it off as complete bobbins. She gave it a try anyway and fuck me, they were right. Our normal weekly supermarket shop always hovered around £60-70 in the new high price era and our last M&S effort was £61.85 and the quality of the fresh food is infinitely better. We don't use the supermarket for everything but we're not losing out and are getting better quality for it too.
