Finally opened my 83+ x 25, needing fodder for SBCs and praying for a TOTY.
I got the blue flares, but of course it was HM Mendy. Behind that was 1 87, 1 86 and the rest were 84s or 83s.
Chucked it into that PP and thankfully had a better result - just like Merse, got the Vini Jr. POTM. Not too shabby and I'll have to try him out next WL.

The Premier League one staggers me the most though as I've done that many yet haven't hit so many of the special cards. No Salah, no Bruno. Not even a Foden and only 1 Walker.

Made 750k coins from 84+ chaffe sales yesterday and still plenty untradeable for whatever comes up.
Mbappe is making a real difference too. Won 6 on the bounce in qualifying with him. David remains my main goal threat, but Mbappe is precisely what I hope Martial would be when I stuck him up top, and I’m enjoying having Aouar back at RM, where he seems to excel at late runs and is defensively sound, allowing Hakimi to press on from RB.
Also getting used to Varane and he’s dominating 1 on 1s. Was worried when he so sluggish with an anchor, engine didn’t do much for him, but 8 Chem shadow and he feels much lighter, and his aggression really helps.
Tomiyasu, Mendy, Ramsdale, Tierney and Rudiger on the watch list as potential additions now Mbappe has rejuvenated the attack.
Actually, I may have only got one Cancelo from the PL Premium Upgrades, with the other coming from a Rare Gold Pack.
Anyway, carried on the icon grind last night and packed my 3rd Cafu (I mean, seriously) followed by an Okocha, who is going straight back in.
Will be carrying on tonight with the final 250 packs and should be well set to finish this by tomorrow night in time for the team leaving on Friday, albeit I'm convinced I won't be getting any more unique TOTY's now.

Picked up gold Messi and HM David in the panic yesterday to add to the team and/or sell at profit. They've rebounded a little but will hold for a while longer and give them some game time. Really need something that requires informs so I can cash out and pick up Cancelo to complete my team.
There's a whole bunch of Future Stars leaks which look great. Tchouameni is the one I have my eye on. Also Chalobah's academy (?) card looks cool (the ones where you upgrade them).
I think I mentioned the academy thing in Yevs stream. They are far and away the best objs imo. Even if they are a pain in the arse sometimes (Zaniolo volleys a few years back) they are fun and you get a bunch of shit from them.
As someone who doesn't tend to get much involved in TOTY, I've found Future Stars to always be the best promo. It usually adds cards to the meta that weren't there before(usually TOTY just gives juiced versions of players you're already using).
Agreed. We generally see the same shit boosted so the randomness of these cards is always welcomed.
Like last year Curtis Jones went from a 64 rated bronze, to literally comparable to Prime Gullit, overnight.
I really liked that Jones card, which also DISGUSTED me.

I’ve got an empty club but with an 84 IF from TOTW 1 so hopefully he’s worth 20-30k.
I’ve not started in February before so no idea what to expect. Is there anything urgent I need to do before 6pm today? As I recall 6pm Fridays is when the Objectives/seasons content resets.
I also have 4200 fifa points to hand. I can get on before 6, so the question is do I pump that into a tiny chance of a TOTY or do I wait til after 6 for a probably slightly larger chance of a future star?
Welcome back. I'd probably shoot it into packs now because TOTYs will be more valuable and even when you don't pack one, you'll get some fodder/a team to play for some objectives/do SBCs tonight. Also - check your preview pack in the store.
I'd say first focus should be on completing any SBCs/objectives with Future Stars tokens in them.

De Gea coming out now was great, was able to shift 22 shit 82s/83s from my trade pile to do him and open up some space to run through these last packs.
Did the Mid Icon upgrade last night.... wasn't great, 90 Pirlo. I'll cram him in the side and see how he plays before he gathers dust in the club.
I've heard he's actually not too bad. 5* skills and top passing.
