My experience of BUPA has been tremendous, online GP appointments within hours if required and then referral to your heart's content because the GP cunts don't actually care when they're sat in their living room and want their evening back so I got 5 free physio appointments for my hamstring tendon niggle which would have cost close to £500.

What's the risk you mean (given he's essentially dead already)?
It will be that he "dies" in transit, because moving someone in that condition is very difficult.
You can't just wheel him and all the machines he's attached to into the back of an ambulance. It will involve transferring him onto portable equipment and there's a huge risk they won't be able to keep him going through that.
The level of support you can offer in the back of even the most decked out ambulances isn't the same as a fully kitted out intensive care unit either.
It would be a miracle if he "survives" it I'd have thought. Then she'll probably go after everyone involved for "messing up" the transfer.

I get the impression having soured things so badly with the hospital she views it as 'giving them the win' if they turn off life support so she wants to move him and get the last word. God help the poor doctor or nurse who discovers him if he 'dies' in the meantime (he's been dead since he was brought in).

As with all things, it's not that straightforward.
For one thing, paediatric intensive care transfer teams are an extremely scarce resource. We usually only have one in our region at a given time. How can you justify tying them up with an almost certainly futile attempt at transferring a child who is essentially already dead, which could end up delaying them attending to an extremely sick child who has a realistic chance of surviving with prompt transfer? It's genuinely not beyond the realms of possibility that another child dies who wouldn't otherwise have if they attempt this.
It's also extremely unfair on the staff in my opinion. You are tasking them with an impossibility. No doubt the family will be insisting on every possible intervention to get him to the hospice "alive", so you are sentencing these poor staff to being on a road somewhere in the back of an ambulance trying to perform heroics on a corpse knowing they will fail and knowing they will probably get dragged through the press by the mother afterwards.
We have principles and laws around these sorts of situations for good reasons. Once you start setting precedence for doing things which break those principles, it's very hard to walk back.

Junior J wouldn’t be an underage grade, it’s adult level but you’d regularly see 16 and 17 year olds play in it also especially at that level were numbers would be really low. So his age shouldn’t really be part of the issue. The fact he’s a bloke is enough of a one anyway.
The adult levels would go Senior - Intermediate - Junior A - Junior B etc etc with letters as far as you need. You’d regularly have an age spread of 16 to 40+ in low junior levels in the men’s games anyway.
