Nobody cares, Shinners. It's done.
Yeah, totally. Totally done. Lets ignore a nation of a billion people taking duds.
I have to register with a local surgery to book an appointment, and I think I would just rather never go anywhere again.
Were you registered anywhere before you moved down there? My details were still under my old address when I booked online.
Magic would fit in in Byron Bay
I was a bit miffed when I saw the queue but I was all done in half an hour. Efficient. Piece of piss, although one woman did have a wobble in the waiting room.
Now we wait for side effect bingo.
Which one did you get?
Pfizer. I was expecting to be asked but she had one already lined up.
My arm has been sore but other than that no side-effects at all. Maybe a bit tired, but both of my kids were dickheads last night so that's probably unrelated.
When the lass at the desk asked if I had a positive test in the last 28 days, I thought of you.
Are we still going to be allowed on the forum without a passport
I meant to post about that; I don't really understand the point of the question. I phoned up before booking it and they said it was fine, I just might get worse side-effects. Then when they asked me while I was in there they didn't bat an eyelid. Just carried on with the questions regardless.
No idea why they bother asking if it doesn't matter.
Yeah, I keep hearing a theory about infections and side effects but it's obviously not concrete enough to stop people taking the jab. Probably just another data point to collect. You wouldn't normally get told the batch number of the vaccines either.

Cummings going in. He gives evidence on Wed.
His version of events will be interesting insofar as he's liable to be the most senior person in any major country to say it was all shit even his own involvement. That said, I don't see his 'having the right people in charge' stuff (and all of his Manhattan Project laments are mental). The usual civil service procurement and health service bullshit fair enough (and the fact they let him take important documents home and haven't bothered recovering them tells you all you need to know there), but they did, as far as anyone knew at the time, have the right people in charge in terms of the initial response.

That sounds nice.
"What's the prognosis doc?"The normally rare infection, called mucormycosis, has a mortality rate of 50%, with some only saved by removing an eye.
"Well, I've got some good news and some bad news...."
All diabetics too? This really doesn't like fat people!
Isn't that why the death rate in India is so high because of the Diabetes epidemic there and the steroid treatment that's used to treat Covid causes the sugar levels to go through the roof and that usually kills the patient off.
Get your facts out of this thread.
What they are talking about in that article is more to do with the immune suppressive effects of steroids than the direct effect on diabetes. Diabetes messes with the immune system in various ways; add the steroids onto that and you are at risk of atypical infections like the one they are talking about.

For anyone interested this is Dom Cummings’ full Twitter rampage that’s been going on for a few days.
I'm not really sure what the point of most of it is.
The stuff on the optimum moment to lock down and the journos buying it is good.
We're at a softplay for the first time in a year and there's a family here with a Tyler and Aisla. I've missed the British Public, the tragic bastards.
Pretty sure the bird is pregnant too. £10 on Skylar.
Based on the kids I hear about that my nieces know I assume that boys in this area are exclusively called Kaiden or variants thereof.
Ah yes, the the Possil Park variant.

Proper that.
If Boris Johnson really did offer to be infected with it live on telly to prove it was nothing to worry about then I take back all the times I said he was shit.
Is Cummings' appearance going to be broadcast? Should be absolute dynamite.
Melbourne is in for another winter of lockdown.

It's absolutely impossible to stop this thing, isn't it?
When the population isn't vaccinated.
Cummings live on Sky News.
A fascinating reminder of what a fist this was to start with.
Whether you like him or dislike him, he really does have a refreshing approach to this in terms of delivering unabashed truth (even if critical of himself). It is sometimes wrapped up in Manhattan Project / Bismarck wank, but what can you do.
Poor Hancock
Dominic Cummings describing government behaviour by explaining the Spider-Man pointing meme. Jesus Christ.
He used Independence Day as well.
If everything was as bollocks as he describes, which it will have been, the crash response programme comes out of it looking reasonably well.
GDPR being a barrier to keeping people alive is absolutely brilliant.
Dawn Butler vs Dominic Cummings? This should be interesting.
And it's a useless question about NHS records.
This is tragic.
