Is that 82+ gold upgrade worth grinding for one card,?
From what I can see without having the game, it's asking for 7 gold cards, 4 rare, with no rating requirement.
It's absolutely worth doing and to what degree depends on how much time you have. If you have a fair bit of time to kill, you should upgrade your useless bronzes to silvers, silvers to golds and then put the golds into the upgrade.
Most of the time you're going to get 82s and 83s, but when you don't, you're just saving yourself coins. Let's say you open 10 and get back 8 x 82/3 but then one time it's an 87 rated card. Well you've just saved 25k off a future/current SBC. All with cards most people likely discard anyway.
There is that small chance you do get Adeyemi(who I assume it is you want), but you should be more in the mindset of setting the club up in case an SBC drops that you'll want to do.

Agree with Fox it’s 100% worth chucking stuff in there.
I would probably say do the league SBC (the big one) first before sending things into this but it’s worth sending the low rated crap into this.
For me, Premium League SBC as a priority and then any excess/other stuff into the 82+.

Finished the WL play off stuff for Gordon. 7-3 in the end, only that far because I played an extra one with the 82 in the team like an idiot
Rattled through the homegrown stuff too for the tokens and got a couple of decent boards to into the hero pick they went.
WC Al Owairan, WC Cole and WC Papin.
I have the Papin's normal hero and apparently Al Owairan is stupid expensive, so I took him.

Just saw that Gordon card. Not that i want to do him, it seems fairly easy to achieve. I really hope they bring back the Golden Goal for some monster card eventually, like they did for World Cup Vieira and Cafu. Most fun Ive had in a long time on Fifa.
I have had WC Al Owairan for ages and he's great. Easily up there in the 2nd top tier, a bit behind crazy expensive Icons/TOTYs. He's rapid and got nice dribbling/finishing.
Sounds like he might get some time over a zero chem Bale then.
I played someone with Jairzinho yesterday and he looked like he was actually on wheels. Breezing past Cancelo like he wasnt there. It was weird. Thankfully that was his only plan to I stood off him and brought my winger back to double team him.
Walcott is the slowest 99 pace card ive ever used. He does not feel great at all. Even off the ball.
I saw someone say that on Reddit too. I havent tried him though.

Did the 89 icon SBC and got Wayne Rooney. I have about 5 icons and he is obviously one of them.

I have the fodder for that but not touching it. The 89+ eliminates like 2 WC icon cards and keeps the rest in the pack. Sack that off.
I'm at the point where I could do the 27 token Swaps pack but it looks atrocious from what I've seen. Definitely rethinking going for fodder instead.

Upgrade path on these new cards looks good but I'd imagine they'll be pretty rare. Seems to be the way they're going this time around
I can no longet keep my defensive line high. If someone plays a one-two against me. My defense makes it their duty to follow the run toward goals. I want them to push up and play offside ffs. It leaves a huge gap between my midfield and attack. Super annoying.

Presumably it's designed to shaft people wanting to put them in SBC's later on down the line. Such a rat move.
If they're a) cheap and b) top tier then it could be cool but I have a suspicion it'll be neither and basically just a way to get you to exchange useful cards for something temporary, rather than permanent
I think like tradeable vs. untradeable packs it'll be marginally cheaper.
Will it only be the loan available and the regular card? Surely it wouldn't just be loan only. It sounds like it will be like they do for icons at the moment. A loan version to test before doing the main card.

Those prices make the permanent versions seems fairly worth it:
If you calculate the cheapest 87 is 26k + an 82 squad is 13k = ~40k per card would be a fair price, and this is 110k for the pair (going off the FUTbin prices). Not to mention that one of these could go up to 89, which are about 48k. Whether you'll get 99 games (not including friendlies) of Bundesliga players, I'm not sure though
