It won't affect prices as it'll be sold to the private global conglomerates to sell back to us.

At least we'll have even more immigrants to go with boosting pensioner incomes now. I was worried there.

Seems a bit odd to resign over some technical error and then launch a scathing broadside resignation letter, almost as if it was all somehow contrived.

I hope Grant Shapps delivers all of his press briefings in front of a hedge.

Just seen a clip of the Fylde MP saying he won't vote against fracking becauee Labour are playing politics, 'they should win a GE if they want to do that'

    No, that's the speaker.

The chief whip is responsible for getting their MPs to vote along party lines.

The Conservative party must know they’re fucked, right? The Tory MPs must be aware that their jobs are about to be lost and we may not be seeing them in power for a good while.

I don’t like the constant hyperbole we hear but this is absolutely shambolic.

2 more years on the payroll though, so it's hard to see them ever actually voting the government down. Plenty of time for Jeremy to sort everything out once they figure out how to get rid of the incumbent maniac.

Isn't this sort of thing what the House of Lords is for? Atleast in part, anyway. Why aren't they stepping in to stop the madness?

He's meant to be an impartial broadcaster working for a publicly-owned network, the existence of which relies on at least pretending it isn't full of pinkos. If he wants to have free speech at work he can go and work for Sky or the Guardian.

If the bar for sacking people is them doing something outside of what they are "meant to be", then every one of your heroes should've been down the dole office months ago.

Politicians can be voted out if they don't do their jobs properly, so it's a pretty stupid comparison.

Everyone could vote out the BBC by not watching it and not paying their license fee.

The state reserves the right to find you up to a thousand pounds for not paying the licence fee, search your home proving their case, and potentially imprison you for not paying the thousand pound fine. Does that happen if you vote a shit government out?

Telling that Lewis ignored my post. On the ropes.

Also the police could do all that and more if you had a party during lockdown and then Downing Street had 12 of them and faced no actual repercussions from it. Probably labours fault.
