Schalke vs. United was Jurado, because I was just watching those highlights. Soler scored one for Valencia against us when we played them. Fuck remembers the other scorers.

Remaining players - with some more clues:

1994-95 – Barcelona v Manchester United - Attacking midfielder, 30 caps for Spain, played for Sociedad as well as Barcelona.
1999-2000 – Barcelona v Chelsea - Came through Real Madrid's youth system, striker. Flitted between clubs, spent time in Greece and Turkey too.
2000-01 – Valencia v Leeds United - Striker, scored twice in this game. Also played for Celta in his career. 1 cap for Spain.
2001-02 – Real Mallorca v Arsenal - Central midfielder, ended his career with a very brief loan spell for Coventry City. Other than that, spent whole career in Spain.
2001-02 – Real Mallorca v Arsenal - Fairly obscure right-sided midfielder, also spent a couple of seasons with Atletico and Sociedad.
2001-02 – Deportivo La Coruna v Manchester United - Central midfielder, regular for 9 seasons with Deportivo. Currently managing in Spain. Capped for both Spain and Catalonia.
2002-03 – Barcelona v Newcastle United - Same striker who scored v Chelsea in 99/00.
2002-03 – Deportivo La Coruna v Manchester United - Right winger who came through the Real Madrid youth academy. Very recently sacked from a Spanish club due to a scandal.
2003-04 – Celta Vigo v Arsenal - Obscure defensive midfielder who also played for Valencia and Zaragoza, earned 2 caps for Spain.
2005-06 – Villarreal v Everton - Very surprised if anyone gets this player - another defensive midfielder who played for Las Palmas as well as Villarreal. Managing in the Spanish lower leagues now.
2005-06 – Real Betis v Liverpool - Again, another extremely obscure player. Spent 11 years in Betis before finishing career in Thailand. Played as a DM or centre back.
2010-11 – Valencia v Manchester United - Classy playmaker who came through Valencia's youth system. Has since spent multiple years in English football.
2011-12 – Villarreal v Manchester City - Wide midfielder who also played for Zaragoza. 9 years with Villarreal, but never capped for Spain.
2011-12 – Olympiakos v Arsenal - 6 years at Olympiakos where he won the title 6 times. Scored in both games v Arsenal. Attacking midfielder, who played for Villarreal before moving to Greece.
    2011-12 – Olympiakos v Arsenal
2011-12 – Benfica v Chelsea - Had a spell in England and Russia. Still playing in Spain now in the top flight.
2013-14 – Napoli v Arsenal - Still at Napoli, youth product of Real Madrid.
2013-14 – Atletico Madrid v Chelsea - Veteran striker, still playing in the top flight of Spain. Also had a spell in Portugal.

RB Leipzig are challenging in an attempt to win their first ever title in Germany this season. Can you name the 22 teams across the top 5 European leagues (England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain) to have won the top flight only once?

(All-time records for England and Spain, starting from the inception of the Bundesliga (1963) for Germany, the inception of Serie A (1929) for Italy, and starting from the professional era (1932) for France.)

Betis won it once in 1934-35. 3 of the remaining French teams are very obscure.

    Metz
    Strasbourg
Montpellier (wasn’t a big deal made when they won it with Giroud?)

Edit: I see the latter were guessed already

Strasbourg is correct though, one title in 78-79.

Lens and 1860 are correct but have been said already. There is a Paris-based team, but not Paris FC. 3 French, 1 English and 2 German teams to get.

Didn't Blackpool have a guy who won Ballon d'Or in like the black & white tv era Stanley Williams or something... I'm trying to think of his name we have a guy who comes to Orlando City who grew up a Blackpool supporter who RTs stuff about him sometimes

    I'll go with Blackpool tho

    Other than that I'd say

    Sheffield Wednesday
    Millwall
    Blackburn

You were close with Blackpool - they finished 2nd in 1956, and it was Stanley Matthews who won the Ballon d'Or.

Sheffield Wednesday have won it 4 times, Blackburn 3 times, and Millwall have only ever finished as high as 10th in the top flight.

    Red Star
Stan Mathews makes me wonder about Stoke
Preston and Huddersfield both won it, but I think more than once... Nonetheless I'll try.

Just done a quick Sporcle for the First Division winners and got all of them. Sheffield United, if it hasn't been said.

Sheffield United is correct, won it once in 1897-98.

Preston have won it twice, and Huddersfield three times (in a row, under Chapman). Stoke's highest position is 4th. Koln have won the Bundesliga twice.

I'll give you the Paris once Sincere, but the team were known as RCF Paris, or Racing Club Paris. They won it in 1935-36.

Two (obscure and old) French teams remain, and two German teams, who both won the Bundesliga once in the 60s.

Correct, won the title in 1967-68. The other side won it the year before, and now play in the third tier of Germany. Wasn't too long ago they did have a season in the Bundesliga though.
