We got some really good finishes but mostly through running anyway and hiding and skirting the action and basically never killing anybody.

I've never really found it fun to watch. It's probably tense to play but, unless you're really good at finding people and taking kills, I can't see myself being pulled into it. Anyway, cracking on with Final Fantasy V and I'm just about closing out the first world. If I wasn't looking at a walkthrough for it, I'd be fucked. What's annoying is how certain tougher bosses seem to require you to lean on a specific job.
I was hoping the job system would allow me to just pick and choose the team I wanted (White Mage, Black Mage and two heavy hitters) but I've had to invest in a Time Mage and, more specifically a couple of Ninjas to throw shit at the Earth Shrine boss.
Blops3 is fun but the fucking frame rate is appalling.

It's actually not the frame rate it's the fucking lag. Hardly any EU based servers.

I sort of like the new TT game despite its many, many flaws. Had a mammoth online race with some fella over four laps of the full circuit. 84 minutes. He would've won but he was waiting for me to catch up and I completely missed him as I flew by. Won by a minute.
Has a really, really good sensation of speed, especially on the superbikes. Not worth £45 unless you're really into your TT but every track is nicely detailed and they're patching in sidecars in May.
May have already been posted but I thought this was original.

I had no interest in even trying it on my phone because I couldn't imagine a way in which it wouldn't be a completely arse-tastic way of playing PUBG.
I bought a 4k screen. TTH is impossibly small even with everything turned up 200%. I just played Assassins Creed Origins on Ultra on 3840x2160
I also bought Farcry 5 from a shop today. Put the CD Key in and it said 'Pre-Load', I thought that was odd. Turns out it's not 'out' till fucking Tuesday.

Their in-game engine cut scenes look like a proper anime. Incredible.
Ni No Kuni is a lot of fun but I do have that thing that comes with JRPGs where every cut-scene and every random battle I'm thinking 'Jesus Christ there's going to be another 50 hours of this'.
Someone needs to make a good JRPG with a beginning a middle and an end that clocks in at under 24 hours.
I was put off from buying this because I wasn't keen on the first game.

One of the central themes of any JRPG is that it should be 48 years long (not including the grinding required to beat all the mental secret shit that's normally in there). If you want a tighter experience then it's western all the way, old Bioware games had either hard or soft level caps and many of the more recent ones that they inspired have a similar set up.
I regret playing Final Fantasy V on my PS3 and not some Snes emulator I can whack the speed up on.
Depends, it's a bit tropey but the combats fun. I haven't unlocked a good 50% of the game mechanics with the Kingdom Building stuff according to reviews I've seen so we'll see.

Damn right. In shit news, Grainger Games closed 21 stores overnight with no warning. Their website is blacked out. They quietly disclosed they were in the shit with creditors last week. 67 stores remain open. Both nearest options to me have been shuttered.
