A foul and the other guy was offside, but like fuck are City getting a VAR decision any time soon from UEFA
EDIT: Christ on a bike, Raheem

Gahahahaahahahahahaahahahaha.
Moussa
Hahahahahhaahha. I love Sterling. He is absolutely bobbins in front of goal. I’m not even surprised he missed that
That’s some quality defending.
Is that the twat used to play for Celtic?
Ederson is absolute dogshit.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Get fucked small time club.
Lol @ Edison, what a fanny
If they had any fans to reply it might be worth reading.
7th in Ligue 1 so no Champions League football for Lyon unless they win it.
I can see 'Pep' responding to this by selling all of their black players. Are there any youth prospects United might fancy?
Sterling acting like De Gea is in goal and City chucking it away is perfect.
Harry Kane was right not to square it
Dembele four goals in three against Man City. He’s quality when he isn’t injured. Ex SPL players have been loving the CL recently
Has Pep lost his job yet? Im still waiting on Lampards walking papers
It's not offside and Laporte just fell over.
Ruling on the field stands.
In the same way that had the ref bought Cornet's shit when he went down under minimal contact it probably would have stood as a penalty.
Why does Guardiola always change the way they play in European quarter finals?
With Silva leaving, and Aguero a bit of a crock City really miss a lot of guile and cutting edge. Goals that get them ahead in games that matter. Better go and shell out a couple of hundred million on (hopefully) more mooks. Rodri and Cancelo definitely £120m well spent, or whatever it was.
Lol at attempting to infer team strength from these knockout games rather than just appreciating them for the highly entertaining slightly weighted dice rolls that they are. Nearly all of the ties in both competitions were incredibly minor events away from going the other way.
95/96 was the last time there were no English or Spanish sides in the semi-finals of the Champions League. It was Juventus (who won ofc), Panathinaikos, Ajax and Nantes.
Can red bull and PSG meet in the final? That would be panty twisting enough.
He doesn't touch the ball and he doesn't impact on any City players (trying to play him offside doesn't count).
We've had this rule for god knows how long. It's shit in certain circumstances, but it's hardly an unknown quantity. It's not even the most egregious example of how to be shafted by the modern offside rule, tbh.
City 😂
The Sterling miss is stupendous.
Talksport were questioning why Pep had changed the formation tonight from his usual successful set up. I know it's Talksport, but they make a fair point.
The City defender should have milked the obstruction like NRL big men.
How?
That's the rule.
It has its deficiencies - I think usually around defensive players making poor decisions due to pressure from 'offside' players (even though they're not interfering with play) - but in the present case City play offside against a guy (or they don't I don't know, probably not), he doesn't touch the ball or impede a City player so he is, be definition, not offside. It's like pushing out from a corner and catching 7 players offside but not the twat making a run from outside the box. It's galling, but it has been this way since the early 90s. Interfering with play is definitely drawn too narrowly, although I don't know that Mr through his legs tonight actually materially impacted any City player.
That video of 'Carra' reacting to the miss is an ear-splitter. Jesus.
Lads, get on Pacheco for Ballon D'or next year cause everything is coming up Millhouse now. Oh Jesus
Also, if Bayern don't win it I'll nosh off every one of you mans. Just checked odds though and it's at 1.5 so allow thinking I'm some big man with that shout.
Just seen the highlights of City-Lyon. Fucking hell, Sterling.
Good to see England's 10 year domination of Europe lasted approximately 12 hours.
Fuck.
It's not even well hidden.
That team selection and general approach was awful.
You can point to the two big moments with the goal that could have been ruled out and then Sterlings big miss but really Pep got it so wrong.
At 1-1 they had a ludicrously high line with Rodri and Gundogan pushed up into the positions where David Silva, Bernado or Foden would be super effective yet they left them on the bench.
What's the point of two holding players if theres that much space behind the back line?
Mahrez and Foden have been Citys two best player since the restart, both should have started.
These one-legged euro games are amazing.
I, for one, welcome our new French overlords.
Im late but
:********)
'Do you have the Rodri login?'
