    Professional MasterChef

Anyone else watch it? Some cracking chefs on there this year IMO. The 23-year old lad who looked exactly the same on that photo of him when he was 14 is who I've got my money on.

    Moar freds.

I always watch less of it than I intend. Probably because the presenters are always berks.

How many episodes in is it?

I liked William and then Luke and both are gone. My favourite remaining is probably Matthew so he'll go at the next opportunity.

    Sean can sod off.

    4 left I think.

The presenters on pro Masterchef are better than normal. Gregg Wallace is still a fanny but I quite like Waring and Galletti.

Greg's a bellend, but Monica and Marcus Wareing are ace.

I still prefer Michel Roux though.

When Marcus goes I hope they can bring in Paul Ainsworth, he'd be superb in the role.

Marco Pierre-White would be fun for a season, after which he'd be in prison for setting Greg Wallace on fire. He's legitimately a psychopath.

He's been a judge on a show here for a few years now and he's not really

I can't be doing with Marcus Wasteman and his Plantagenet beard. Great show nonetheless.

On a vague tangent I found out last night that Michel Roux Jr and Shane MacGowan were born in the same small town, 2.5 years apart. Blew my mind.

Is the John Stones clone still going strong?

Seemed a bit of a posh boy bias in it this year. Childhood holidays in the Seychelles, when I said I wanted to be a chef my mum took me to the local Michelin star restaurant . . .

Lawrence really picked it up from the start of the semi-final.

Seemed to always be right at the top.

I'm more glad that the Scot didn't win, I didn't like him at all. He's got a banging fiance though so fair play to him.

I thought Matthew was unlucky to go out. Dean fucked his dish for the chef's table but nobody went home directly after that so he got off scott-free since it didn't seem to be taken into account at all later on. That was Matthew's first weak dish that he got sent home off.

Lawrence deserved to win anyway though.

I swear nothing in the chef's kitchens or critic tables etc ever gets taken into account, they are just there to mix the backdrops up a bit.

Not sure if they even film it in the right order.

+1 for stuff seeming to be ignore or at least weirdly weighted. They never talk about it much when they're having they're judge chats.

They usually have one shot of them together but you're right, they do looking a conversation that's been spliced together.

I quite like them for something different although some of the tasks you feel get totally ignored in terms of judging anyway.

Some bloke called Eddie Dean from St. Helens, who was about to move to Marbella, applied for Masterchef but didn’t get on. So he decided to open a restaurant (“Wine bar.” In St. Helens? loluwot) so he could go on professional masterchef instead.

    I’d rather live in Marbella.
