As Jim says, things will go south at incredible speed when it is announced. I'm sure the issue United are having is that legally he is innocent and any suspension from duty or any kind of suggestion of training with the reserves for the length of his remaining deal, will likely be met with legal action(he seems the full of himself type to actually believe he's done nothing wrong too). However in the court of public opinion this would be the better way to go. Hopefully their share price tanks too.

RE: Greenwood, you're all also forgetting Jonny Evans had the same charges put at him when a teenager. Granted there wasn't the audio etc (Social Media was also in its infancy then), but we chucked him off to Sunderland for a bit on loan and he cracked on having a very good career.
