Yeah, I'm not a fan of Christmas Pudding, Christmas Cake or Mince Pies to be honest. I'm convinced Victorian England ran purely on raisins and marzipan.
It has also been brought to my attention that those little festive paper hats you get from the xmas cracker. They have never been big enough to fit on my head. Because they made for the kids.

My sister's a life long veggie and both she and her husband have been vegan for probably the last 10-15 years, so it's nothing out of the ordinary when we eat with them. Though it's the first Christmas I can remember having together probably since childhood.

Going to my Mum's today and staying over, was hoping for a chilled affair but my mug step brother in his 50s has no mates so seems to think it's going to be some kind of party, rather than coming for an hour and leaving like a normal person. I'm going to be the most miserable cunt in the county and teetotal for a day if that's what it takes to get it through to him that he needs to fuck off at an acceptable time.
I honestly don't know why we only eat it at Christmas. It's not exactly hard to knock up. Or, atleast, the effort to satisfaction ratio seems worth it to me.
An efficient household would do it the day after any and every roast dinner, or frankly you could do it any time you have sausage and mash or innumberable other British classics. Make a little bit more the first time around and that's two days of meals sorted.
I can only dream of belonging to such a household.
Can confirm that walking 55km is fucking difficult.

We've another full dinner tomorrow now, I can't bear the thoughts at this stage. Bring back the good old days of rotating the main day around each year instead of this shite or everyone needing their day in the same year.
