Bit frustrating that it wasn't Bayern in the UCL MMs. Prices have dropped to 600 coins so I've got half a trade pile taken up until they release an SBC requiring a Bayern player.
Managed to finish off the Eredivisie Squad Battles last night which means just 5 MLS wins to go. I need to get cracking on the Dzeko objectives so it's the Serie A squad in Rivals for the rest of the week.
As for the kits, I use Sampdoria away as my home kit, and Rangers away for the away kit.
Watching Nepenthez talk about trying to complete that week 3 objective where you have to score two goals with silver players and win made me lol quite hard.
He's a weird character. It's been discussed on the FIFA subreddit, but he complains constantly about wanting to grind the game, and then moans that the objectives require too much work or are too tough to complete legitimately. Sometimes I really enjoy a video or two from him, other times he just moans and whinges.Originally Posted by Yevrah

Also not a fan of him constantly banging on about how shit the game is and then using every single exploit he can to win.
He is a bit odd a times.
The reality is that it also doesn't matter how much content EA chuck at the game he'll always be able to finish it because he's on it for 12 hours a day.
My biggest gripe with him is his crusade for a casual mode, which EA have now given him in friendlies, but that's not really what he wants. What he actually wants is a competitive mode with no ranked matchmaking where he can just hammer people who're much worse at the game than him and still enjoy reward benefits. Which is a fair enough request, but don't paint it as anything else.

@thommo, I only ended up with 12 of them so not too much space taken up. Hopefully they are picked on the next round of games.
Looking at the stats, Bayern came in the first MM matchups for the champions league.
Hoping they'll be in either the next one (Matchday 4) or in for the Dortmund league game in a few weeks time. Can't open as many bronze packs with the trade pile clogged up.
Nainggolan looks incredible. As does Doucoure. Some nice cards in this week.
Bought 89 Shearer for 480k.
Has good stats based on that reddit post about strikers and I've heard a lot more praise compared to last year.
That Reddit post was fundamentally wrong though.
That said, I’d love a usable Shearer.
They've added Bundesliga SBC.
Guy ran around like mental when Coman scored like he had just won the eWorld Cup or something.
7 of 10 online survival goals in 1 match is nice.
What were the wrong points?
Obviously I'm taking it with a pinch of salt but I decided to test him out as I couldn't see a PL striker that really stands out.

Cheapest right now is 800 with the most expensive at about 3k.
I've got a few Tettey's (wont be worth as much as defenders but still), McLean's and Hanley's.
I did not LOAD up though which is a bit annoying.
Sam Byram at 800 looks like he could be good right now though. 800ish coins and he's one of two RB's in the club with the other going for about 1.8k.

I’ve been stocking up on bronzes and turning duplicates into silvers so happy days.
I was losing 3-2 in a Survival match right at the end and I only needed 2 goals to complete the objective. I then decided to start scoring own goals to be kind and help my opponent should they be playing for Dzeko (why else would anyone play these nonsense modes?) and I got booted at 7-2 for scoring too many own goals.
The result was listed but because of the boot the two goals did not count towards Dzeko
Also, I've only played with Shearer in said shit games so I can't properly judge him but his shot power is insane. I hit a green timed power shot which went just wide but the ball could have killed a man.
Are UCL cards just in all packs now and if so, for how long?
Cards are in packs now until the end of FUT pretty much. No stat upgrades, the card is literally the same but just a blue UCL item instead.
Repeatable, looks like mostly "player" packs too. Right now its an 83 Striker and 84 CAM. So not great.
Edit: And Bayern only needs 6 Bayern players
Finished Dzeko with a 21 goal thriller against a random who was happy to trade goals we then stood still for 20 mins while the game ran out. God those assist and cross objs were a pain though

The icon swaps. As drogba medium is included. Does that mean that no other version of drogba will come as any future icon swap or any other promo? The only way to get the other drogba's is to buy him?

Accidentally took untradeable rewards this morning. Ter Stegen, IF Alonso and Bonucci in the packs.
Going to be a struggle to get the former into the team.
I think the choice to make is do you go with a couple of icons now that would improve the team in two places and allow other chemistry options or stick to one (preferably end game) card. Sadly not many of these fall into the latter category so I may well end up going for the two.
Did a gold upgrade pack with some of the untradeable shit from those packs.....

I think I'm going Zanetti too. I can't see that card being surpassed by any RB in the future, and I generally play 4 at the back so he will get used in every squad I create. Unfortunately it does mean the remaining tokens can only get me Schmeichel. He would be my first choice keeper as things stand, but it's very easy to pack or pick up a better keeper in the coming weeks, so I'm not sure how I feel about that.
If Zanetti could shoot I'd be all over him.

Put some duplicates into gold upgrade packs and got IF Mina, but that was it from 11 packs opened.
Finally a good pull tonight. Lenglet from one of the MM packs.
Looks like he goes for over 90k and he's nothing special so he'll be off.

Raked in 60k from selling Bundesliga bronzes I'd packed. Absolute goldmine.
Just tipped over 500k on hand now.
Did 6 of the Bundesliga SBC's as I had most of the players in the club and a fair few were untradeable.
Pulled Keita who I might try out and just now joined Danny in the Casemiro club who I'll also whack in.
Does anyone play survival? Ive going at it all day and I've lost one game. I've scored 7 goals on two occasions and have often hit 4 before the person quit. Matchmaking is nice
