Imgur shat the bed. I'm on a phone at the moment, I'll get a batch up tomorrow.

I need to resize a bunch of pics so I'll start small with me in front of large Soviet structures and a Pripyat sneakpeek:
Yev will wank himself daft over that first one.
Is the Euro likely to drop or gain in value against the pound between now and the end of the year? It's 1.26 at the moment.
Hopefully it'll drop when the UK votes to stay in the EU. 1.4 would be nice, although probably unrealistic.
Should I hold off buying then?
Dunno. It's been bouncing around this level since the referendum was announced. I need some for July and am holding off, probably until the last minute, but that may or may not be a wise thing to do.
Amsterdam in two weeks. Very much looking forward to it. We're now booking some time in Rome for September which is nice, as we'd abandoned the idea before. Those two with a fortnight in Corfu in July mean that this summer will be brilliant.
Anyone flown BA first class? Booking the last flights for the US next year, and 747 first class is coming in under £2k for NY-LHR.
Isn't that about twice the price of a normal flight?
Why would you bother paying first class? It's a flight and it's over in about seven and a half hours.
I'd do it, they have those beds right?
Probably not worth it if you can sleep in a normal seat though.
You still wake up feeling like shit and, again, it's over in a few hours. What's even the point?
7 hours is too short. 12 hours and then it's worthwhile.
If you can afford it, why not always fly first class?
I'm a twit
Guernsey coast is very nice
Couldn't find one to post in.
I'm in Haneda International Airport, in Tokyo. I'm spending the next two weeks in Kyoto for a research visit, then a bit over a week in Tokyo after that for a holiday.
Today I'm going through Osaka to check out the aquarium, which is one of the biggest in the world.
Whale sharks :
Anyway, use this thread to tell us where you're going, and to make suggestions on what to do when we get to places.

Me and my mate are going to Munster, Germany to hang out with this crazy Israeli bloke we know. Should be pretty good. Might be going Dublin to watch Dinosaur Jr with some other mates as well. Travelling is COOL.
Currently in Kelso wondering what's the point of it all.
I'm Ilkley after a wedding yesterday (the guy who married is the son of the Theakston family which meant plenty of ale). I've pretty much done a tour of the British isles this last fortnight and it's made me miss the countryside and fresh air.
Got to get out of London soon for sure.
It's properly mad how much you can tell the difference in air quality when you go visit somewhere from London. Sounds like bollocks, but it's genuinely a bit of a shock when you breathe in the fresh stuff.
Thirded, such a huge thing as well for your state of mind / quality of life / whatever. I never want to live in London again.
From the outside in it really is shambolic. Water quality too. Don't realise how lucky I am living in a city suburb but so far away from anything like a smog hell.
London is shit. I could double my wage by working there. I would rather half it than do so.
I could get a 60% pay increase if I moved over - but there's no chance. It's an absolute dive.
I wouldn't mind contracting/consulting there but fuck it as a permanent solution. Great tourist destination as well. Edinburgh is miles better.
I wouldn't go as far as calling it a dive. It's pretty brilliant if we are being honest.
Just too many people going at 100 miles an hour always.
Yeah, London is great. Better than 90% plus of the rest of the country.
Jersey has been decent these past 4 days.
Where are you staying? I was in the Pomme d'or which was lovely.
It's definitely worth living in London for a period, but it drives you mad after a while. Especially these days when every man and his dog is after a piece of the action there. What a top, top cliché sentence that was.
Living on the outskirts (Guildford) suits me perfectly. Just jump into London when I fancy it.
My only family in England are from Guildford.
It's bloody warm here - two weeks until I head to France too.
Aye, the Borders were pretty sun drenched for most of the weekend. Pity Jedburgh's had the life sucked out of it. Was down there on Friday night and, compared to the last time I went (8 year ago?), the place was just silent. Was talking to the cabbie that brought us back and he pins it all on the young'ns either buggering off elsewhere or drinking at home.
I'm pretty chuffed of all the places I could have wound up, I wound up here. It's about three hours from where my family live, and 30-40 mins on the train into London.
And as if to prove my own point, I'm writing this from a train as I go to meet some friends in Clapham for a sunny Sunday pint or four.
Alright mate, it's Guildford.
Single best things to do in Scotland, go.
Avoid all towns and cities at all costs. The fewer people around, the better.
If you follow that rule, having been to most of it myself over the years, it's a great place to be.
You're not old enough to do anything that's worth doing in Scotland.
The mountains and lochs and Edinburgh. Avoid everywhere else.
How much longer are you in God's country Kiko? I'm about 15 minutes from Ilkley.
London's a pretty big place last time I checked chaps. Pretty harsh to tar the whole place with the same brush.
I'm in London first week of the summer holidays for my sister's phd graduation. Then I'm getting the Eurostar to Paris with my girlfriend. Should be nice.
I've left sadly.
