Sunny here in Londoninium
Sunny here in Londoninium
It's gorgeous isn't it. The Koreans have even opened the blinds to celebrate.
I can see Aurora Borealis from my bedroom window. It's breathtaking. Fuck you, Amigo/Tobes.
Really strong aurora forecast tonight. Wish I was back in Tromso to see it. How often do you see them in Dundee, Magic? They should be strong enough a handful of nights each winter.
I don't see fack all.
That is stunning.
I've got them in my kitchen.
Wasn't as good as those pics. I thought it was a cloud or something at first.
I've never seen them before and I've tried as I follow the Twitter account that forecasts the storms.
It was definitely green. Like a giant faint streak of gonnorhea discharge spunked across the night sky.
Indeed. Even in Norway it wasn't vivid green like that. Started out looking like bits of cloud then ended up looking like one of those green glow in the dark toys you have as a kid. Still brilliant. Amazing when it shimmers. Definitely worth travelling to see; mind you that might be because you never see it down here.
Spring time has arrived lads.
Today is the Spring Equilux. Let us rejoice.
I'm playing football in 1 hour and it's 36 degrees outside.
Fucking easy way to lose 4kg, I guess.
Genuinely nearly fainted. Hard fucking work that.
I went through what must have been a really isolated fall of snow yesterday. Strangest I've seen.
Was heading towards Dublin on a dual carriageway and it went from completely dry to a couple of inches of snow to completely dry in the space of a minute. Luckily I knew there was a speed limit coming up and had slowed up a bit.
I got a shock from my laptop as a massive thunder roared outside. The fuck is that about.
No shit!
Why is the sky blue?
#teamengineer having a mare here.
Feeling left out mate?
Of his marital bed.
My Sunday game of football has been cancelled because it's too hot
I can't stand on my balcony because the floor is so hot.
It's warm, is what I'm saying.
0C here this morning.
Proper nesh.
It's hot in Scotland is what MJ's trying to say.
Bet Foe's lying on a trampoline.
So after being wonderful yesterday, topping 16C in the back garden, it is currently snowing.
It's fucking snowing here.
Snowing again. Yesterday it was maybe thirty seconds of barely noticeable flakes, but these are huge midwinter fuckers which are almost certainly going to leave a coating of snow on the ground.
Isn't our relentless shagging of the planet supposed to put a stop to this?
4pm and it's still 36 degrees outside. My eleccy bill is going to be off the fucking charts this month.
Glorious today. 8C but sunny so it feels like 36C.
I'm a big believer in the idea that if the sun's out, it simply isn't cold, regardless of whether or not it's technically cold.
I've been awake for three hours and we've had glorious sunshine, torrential rain, hail, back to glorious sunshine, more hail, and it's now dark grey clouds with a peeking blue sky suggesting the rest of the day could either be incredibly sunny or incredibly sleety.
I used to lol at the sort of person who'd say 'if you don't like the weather wait ten minutes' but it genuinely fits today so far.
I'll accept whatever snowy nonsense the day brings though, because it's already brought me the biggest lol of the week. Someone who'd obviously been caught out by the early sun and dressed both himself and his child in shorts and tshirt running into the Tesco car park carrying a few bags, kicking a kerb, and going right on his face in the rain.
So sweltering conditions expected from tomorrow onwards...except the east coast...
12C cloudy. Utter shite.
It's currently 24 degrees, it's set to hit 26 by 2-3pm.
I have the day off work so I've gone my parents to enjoy their garden and fridge full of beer and cider.
Out for tea for Baz's birthday to the pub later.
British summer, when it's good, is the absolute best!!
I don't see any official name so I'm naming the storm that is happening right now (well trying to happen) Gladys.
Well.
I had 14C and cloudy in Dundee. I had lunch just outside Perth and it was 26C. Then I got to Pitlochry and it was 28C. Then almighty storms happened for about 2 hours and it was sporadic SMASHING it down. Dry road, flooded road, dry road, flooded road etc.
Inverness now is about 16C and cloudy but looks stormy.
Just heard a third ambulance siren since the thunder and lightning started.
This might be the end.
Thunder and lightning here today too. It's still so fucking humid. It's horrible.
Also, three people were struck by lightning in Lisburn - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-36464969 . Grim.
I was watching the lightning across London on the 10th floor of the building I was in. Looked mega. Best weather without doubt.
Rains coming down and it's still warm.
I was in London today and there was a cracking storm overhead at about 2pm. Then another good one in Milton Keynes as I passed through on the way home.
Apparently it will be 37 degrees on Saturday.
One of my DRUM FRIENDS in Pheonix, Arizona posted the forecast for the week, and it was averaging 117C, which apparently is 47C. Lol at that.
Lightening right above now. Scenes.
117 C is 117 C mate.
