I'd say every club is doping. It's just that this guy worked with these particular ones and we haven't heard from the ones who worked with the others.

I can't see it bein as big a scandal as we hope.

Maria Sharapova's was a complete non-event, for example.

Football is exponentially bigger than tennis though.

Is this all from a doctor who has no license to even practise medicine in the UK? The article says there is no independent evidence.

Do you watch tennis? Sharapova was massive, so much that I'd say that only Federer would be bigger as they are both easily the most marketed tennis players.

The Times will have more. They wouldn't be going so big on it if not. We all know this will be happening.

There's also a chance it's all a well timed shot at Leicester. The league won't want them winning this.

Yes and I don't mean that. Basically she was taking medicine for years that got outlawed in January. Not like she's been on illegal steroids for years and it was just swept under the carpet like Lance Armstrong.

It was a biggish news story for about two days though. Not significant for anything but properly keen tennis fans. Even most casual tennis watchers couldn't give much of a shit about the womens' game.

A football doping story would be massive. It's just a much bigger sport than anything else on the planet. If it was proven that top clubs/players were at it (they almost certainly are) the only similar story which could rival it would be Usain Bolt being done in athletics.

It doesn't look as though it's anything particularly recent. And Arsenal and Chelsea are also named.

This napoli game is good. Its now 1-1 with udinese inside 30 minutes with two penalties awarded with only one being scored. Goalkeeper made a double save from the penalty and the rebound. Napoli bossman has just been dismissed to the stands.

'Going after' Leicester would be a bit silly, it just opens the enormous can of worms we all know is there ready and waiting. At least wait until Ruperts £5.1 billion cheque clears.

I'd nearly spend my £300 winnings to come over and see it happen.

This is bollocks though. Granted, it's almost always been in a race for fourth place, but generally we always end the season well, and on 2-3 occasions recentl have clawed back some huge deficits with some impressive runs when we looked dead and buried. We tend to turn it on when we're written off and bottle it when we're fancied, as a rule.

The run following the appearance of these twats being the most memorable:

Turned them over 5-2, did Newcastle in the last minute, won at Liverpool, won at Everton. There were 10 Tottenham points in the gap.

Football isn't physically demanding enough for widespread drug use to be worthwhile.

Didier Drogba for example although he does a lot of work with drug agencies I think. For Arsenal I see the likes of Arsharvn. As it is I doubt much will come of it all, it's a huge carpet with plenty of sweeping room.
Really? No Guardiola Barcelona side that is recovering balls at the 85 the minute like the game just started?really?

This is pretty great. Draw odds approaching evens, bookies pulling the game rapidly.

This is good. Their title celebrations would be the ideal cover for becoming the 'Leicester Lions' and playing in red.

What a weird coincidence. I was thinking about this very scenario for the AFC World Cup qualifiers last week. Teams effectively remove points off themselves by making their opponent come bottom. It's bizarre.

That is the sort of goal you get robbed by on Football Manager. It's even his first goal of the season.
