The accommodation prices in Bilbao are ridiculous so looks like an all nighter either way on the 21st for a few.

How much are they charging?
Must be proper panic stations in Bilbao at realising they have an English vs English final. Pintxo shops being boarded up as we speak.
Pintxo, egg and chips por favor.
ETA to reform.
This is nailed on to be the worst final in European cup history.
Nothing is ever going to come close to Red Star v Marseille in shitness terms, or some of the other late 80s / early 90s finals.
Haven't Spurs absolutely bummed United twice this season? All set up for a hilarious capitulation in the only one that matters.
I went to the Open last year and chose to room up in Gretna (about 100 miles away) and commute there and back. For any kind of major event these days you're just fucked anywhere near it.
Jesus, that is brutal.
As for the match itself, I too would be staggered if Spurs won. Which is a bit nuts for a two horse race.
Unfortunately it doesn't matter how good or shit you are, this will be all about bottle. And Spurs have absolutely none.
League
3-0 at OT when Bruno got that laughable red at 1-0.
1-0 at Spurs
Cup
4-3 in the cup. Keeper decided to let Son score a corner, so that was nice. Forster had money on United and gave us a couple.
Spurs being Spurs means they wont be favourites but they have been the better of the two when we have met this season.
Had a look and understat had them with an xG over over 5 in that OT game.![]()
I think it'll be close but Spurs start favourites. Hopefully Amad stays fit and lindelof doesn't then we have a good chance.
Spurs could be playing an under 11's 5-a-side team and they wouldn't be favourites. A final is a final.
I think United have the edge because that team seems to know how to win trophies to salvage a disappointing season.
Nope, one game apparently, the league game they won 3-0.
Arsenal have an almost unique losers nexus of being both quite bad at converting chances but also quite often failing to create all that many. You summed it up yourself up thread somewhere. If they get an early-ish / the first goal then it's fine, but if they don't the law of averages comes hard at them.
I think of it less as not creating many chances but a stubborn refusal to take a low percentage chances combined with being absolute defence monsters. Which when paired with bad finishing means any game where you score none or one of your 5 or so good chances leaves the opponent in a situation where they will take the low percentage chance and if it does happen to come off. Congratulations, you have just been responsible for Arsenals 15th draw of the season.
Arsenal have lost one more game than Liverpool have all season and yet are a billion points off them. If Arsenal had scored 1 more goal in 5 out of those 15 games they’d be in first.
The keeper didn’t cover himself in glory for either goal.
Gateshead's board has confirmed the takeover attempt has fallen through. I've already forgotten which ex-Sunderland player was behind it.
Romano reckoning Frimpong has a €40m release clause and it can be paid in instalments.
Would be funny if we replaced Trent with about the only RB that defends worse than him.
I'm in a Discord channel and there's an absolute lunatic Liverpool fan in there. Genuinely feel he'll have a heart attack if they sign Frimpong, but he bases all his signings off FM so he's buzzing. Please let it happen.
Wirtz to Bayern is all but done, according to BILD. You hate to see it.
Zubimendi to Arsenal also gaining traction.
I mean it's been Here We Goed, looks like it's done bar the formalities of triggering the release clause once the season ends.
Man City have been dog shit here but they’ll no doubt score another late goal to win it

Cheeky slip has clearly passed hands as fuck all has happened in the game
The Derby County record is safe once more. City should still be fine for top 5 though.
Praying for all those brothers who transferred and captained Haaland.
I've got it in my head that 66 points is enough for Champions League qualification.
Depends on this result in the Bournemouth Villa game tbh. If the latter lose then I wouldn’t be surprised if 66 is enough. If they win though then shit hits the fan as I think they’ll finish on 69 points as their last games are against spurs and Man Utd between the final so not a chance either of those sides play a strong team or even try
Ruben Dias being a proper fanny currently, moaning about Southampton not trying to play, "just wasting time", as always the onus is on the team like City to try harder to break teams down, rather than moaning about statistically one of the worst Premier League sides of all time being able to stop them scoring. I know it's a common gripe for Guardiola players and plenty of others, and has been for years, but it still fucking annoys me.
Christ Forest are 7th now.
Aston Villa just keep winning. They’ll end up winning 8 of their last 9 games. I think that’s them in top 5 now
Villa 6th based on GD.
If there's a winner between Newcastle and Chelsea, they'll surely be in.
Nah, I mean I think that’s them getting top 5. Today was their hardest game and they passed the test.
Weirdly, Chelsea winning tomorrow doesn’t change a huge amount for them as they could win their next 2 and still miss out if Newcastle and Forest win their remaining games. Villa would be in 3rd on 64 if they didn’t concede last kick of the ball to City the other week
