He's probably lined up for the Usyk fight.
He's probably lined up for the Usyk fight.
From a yard away at full force. Seems like a fun way to get 5 penalties a game.
This PSG team are on the verge of breaking but we need a goal in the next 15 minutes or it’s over.
That’s the maddest booking I’ve ever seen. 50 years of play out the window.
The tragedy gets worse.
That is clearly a handball, not sure why the commentators are so mad.
Mentality Midgets.
And game over.
Wouldn’t be shocked if Vitinha misses this. He’s that type of player
I would call that soft, but you are sort of asking for it taking that sort of retarded position in the area.
That must be the worst lead up to a penalty kick I've ever seen.
Vitinha is a mong, that's a shocking pen.
Absolutely pathetic penalty.
So obvious. The fuck is a gimp like him taking it for
Justice. VAR at its worst there.
I would sell him for that.
Maybe the worst penalty I’ve ever seen? Elmer Fudd hunting for wabbits ass penalty.
What a strike that is.
However. Game is still over. This team isn’t setup to score two in quick succession without getting fucked on the counter.
RBs are loving the Champions League semis.
He’s been class today and throughout the CL. BYE BYE PHONICS
Rofl. As shitty an attempt in a European semi-final from an English team for a long time.
I think Inter beat this lot.
Arsenal haven’t done badly tonight. But across 160 minutes they haven’t scored and they’ve conceded three and the only way they’ve really looked like scoring is by lobbing the ball into the box.
They and every English team this season are a long way short of PSG.
Villa weren't this short.
When do the vultures start circling Arsenal's better players? One more year? Someone should put a cheeky bid in for Saka.
Mentality midgets doing what they do best.
I love Saka, but fucking hell.
PSG all over the place again
Both semis have been characterized to an extent by zero mentality moments, maybe that's just football now, just the way we play mate etc. Why have PSG suddenly decided falling over under the slightest contact is the best way to protect this lead?
5 at the back and PSG still look so open. Probably the downside of having 3 possession based midfielders who can’t really sit deep
Good geographical facts on the CBS coverage. Tblisi is east of Iraq. Well, sort of.
Think Arsenal might have won the xG war over the two legs.![]()
Still taking their time over these long throws
See you fucking later
At least they can go and win a third title in a row at Anfield on Sunday.
Now for Tottenham to follow suit tomorrow
Looking forward to him getting abused on Sunday after the absolute arse he was chatting yesterday.
Genuine question to the Arsenal fans here. Do you still want Arteta as your manager?
I fear that won't get a genuine response.
I'm still baffled PSG almost bottled the league stage. Talk about getting stronger as the tournament goes on.
Also shows that the league stage is a sham with zero jeopardy, contrary to the prevailing narrative.
XG Finalists.
This notion that teams who exceed their XG are 'lucky' whereas teams who undershoot it are 'unlucky' has to be one of the biggest loads of nonsense that has ever infested football, which is saying something.
Anyone who fully believes in xG has been lost to The Data and should be sent to the gulag.
For now, yes. I don't think he is infallible, his subs for one definitely need reviewing. The transfer strategy hasnt worked recently but is that also Edu leaving? Not buying a striker was extremely costly. Arteta and the players were vocal enough about wanting to sign someone in January so not sure what resulted in nothing. The Sterling loan is absolutely Arteta's fault though. Would getting that striker have have mattered tonight? Maybe not.
The ramifications of Vieira not being good enough to stand in for Odegaard have been felt this season, too. There is a depth problem, partly due to injuries, that is unsustainable. Ther's a lot business to do this summer, outgoing and incoming. Interesting to see what the new fella Berta does.
Neto, presumably leaves after his loan. Potentially need a new backup GK if they don't want to step up Setford.
Kiwior won't be first choice when all players are fit and wants more playing time so will likely leave.
Tomiyasu only a year left on his contract, I think he is actuallt a decent player but his injury record is now shocking.
Zinchenko needs to go as he rarely plays, is on decent money.
Tierney already agreed to go back to Celtic by all accounts.
Partey's contract is up, hopefully wont be renewed.
Jorginho leaving for Flamengo.
Trossard only a year left on his contract and wanted to go to Saudi recently.
Martinelli now 23, 2 years left on his contract. Been underwhelming for me and feels almost like he has gone backwards at times compared to previous seasons. I would be surprised if he is moved on however.
Sterling will obviously be fucked off back to Chelsea.
Gabriel Jesus, not reliable enough to command his place in the squad and wages (200-250k a week). 2 years left on his contract, not sure there's a buyer for him.
Also got Vieira, Nelson, Lokonga and Tavares on loan who all need selling.
Realistically Arsenal need to buy a striker, a creative midfielder, a defensive midfielder and a winger/inside forward whatever they call it now. All that business seems like too much for one window.
Oh and Gabriel or Saliba will likely leave this summer, given Gabriel's injury I'd imagine Saliba.
Arteta isn't perfect but the team has gone from United level languishing in mid table and tinpot european competiton to consistently challenging for the title, the first season back in the CL got QFs and this time SFs, that's clear progress even if the manner of performance was ultimately disappointing.
