He's been so bad, up there with the all time worst performances in a final. Zhao is clearly a lovely player but if you'd told him he'd play Ronnie in the semi's and Williams in the final and win both matches this easily he'd have written you off as mad.

I didn't follow the ins and outs of when all the Chinese lads were banned but it seems to be the gist that he was more bullied into it by the bigger boys and didn't actually throw a match himself?
There was a group of 10 players involved and he knew they were doing it. So they had him for not dobbing them in. He didn't actively do any of the match fixing.
I think Higgins got popped for something similar. Not disclosing an approach by some dodgy men with a briefcase.

Is it still a mix of people who are still playing on the pro tour (therefore shouldn't be in it) and people who were never on the pro tour in the first place (therefore also shouldn't be in it)?
And Christ, if the website I'm looking at for the draw is accurate then they seem to have extended the matches this year, with the final being best of 15. That will take longer than the actual final to finish.
