Why did Rollins not pin Punk? They made a big deal out of him never being able to do so and no one can have any desire to see their feud continue at this point.
The bigger story has and will always be Reigns v Rollins. The latter has never lost against him and I think we’re heading for another Summer of Punk against John Cena. Presume that’s when he drops the title and then becomes a good boy again
The odds going in had Reigns at 5/1 to be pinned and Punk at 1/2. It just made more sense to me with the way they built it up.
It was still a good match either way, but they really needed to just put that to bed.
