The divide between the championship and the premiere league is mega. Good job the bottom three are awful. Wolves looks like they are safe based on the form over the past few weeks. Even without Cunha who will be gone in the summer, 100%

Curtis Jones set to play right back tonight
That's a red card and then some.
Why is Kweev playing again? Is there some sort of contractual obligation to revitalise the title race or something? I wish they'd just start Daz the Spaz for the rest of the season.
Cue an Arsenal red card highlight reel.
Do you reckon it will ever be possible to harness the semi auto offside system so they can buzz the linesman to flag, a la the goal line stuff? The game just playing on when players look offside but then nothing / a corner / whatever coming about thereafter is one of the most infuriating things about modern football.
This is a horrific game so far, which I guess is what Everton want.
Deadly Diogo has quietly become pretty useless over the last 18 months or so, to little or no comment / general rage.
They'll cross the line but the wind really has gone from Liverpool's sails.
It’s as if Mo Salah putting up Messi numbers when it came to goals and assists wasn’t sustainable and outside of that they’re the same team that they were last year.
This is just insane

Of course Pickford is absolutely allowed to do that.
Nunez booked?

Some performance from the ref.
G NEV on Commentary: "All they have to do is keep the ball now . . ."
*Nunez cuts inside and whistles a speculative 30 yarder high and wide*

Jose
Get him back in the Premier League.
Seen that Nunez yellow on Twitter this morning, absolutely ridiculous.
He's had a bit of a flap in him at times but he's a very reliable shot stopper. Really should be given a chance in a team with European ambitions. Bournemouth a good example. He's much better than Kepa. Probably better than the Brighton keeper too. He'd also walk in at Chelsea, but I don't think we'd sell him there.
Watching the highlights this morning.
1) VVD
2) How on earth did Tarkowski survive a VAR check?
3) LOL at the Nunez yellow for getting booted by Pickford.
What's insane about it?
The differential between Salah's xStats and real stats or the differential between him and the rest of the team?
Those xStats look a bit mean, think understat has him at 33 or 34 combined, and then there is the fact that he has had loads of penalties this year. Each of those gets clocked as a 0.75 or whatever, but yields a 1 IRL [has he missed any]? Loads of Wafflez specials at the back post as well, which will be underrated by 'x'.
As far as the team leaning so heavily on him, that's what it is set up to do. Playing to the strengths of your best player is a good strategy generally.
He's just the embodiment of modern football efficiency.
On the subject of Virg and Mo. Their performances last night were quite alarming; I'm wondering if the contract extensions were completed during the international break.
Salah was spotted making a video with the LFCTV crewdown at the docks the other day, so 100% he's staying, unlike JUDAS Trent.
That reaction though. What an absolute fanny.
Manager diving lmao.
I suspect this is down to advanced age plus it being unfathomable that either club or national team should not play either, for less than 90 minutes in every game.
I understand why, as there isn't really a replacement for either for club or country yet. Though in the case of Virgil they did have one but he decided he was Spanish now.
If there was a failing of Slot this season then not trusting the players on the edge of the first team is it. I don't get what Endo, Elliott or Chiesa have to do to earn a run of games while the people ahead of them are out of form.
Maresca should be sacked on the spot if he fails to beat Tottenham tonight. Full squad with over a week of training and no game (if not longer for people that weren’t away on international). Looking forward to his excuses
He’s refusing to play James as a right back at this point. Must not use full backs as full backs. Fuck offfff
They’re not even bothering to mark sancho and it’s not making a difference because he keeps running into players and doing nothing
A truly incredible performance so far
This game is like Richard O'Brien and Varys from Game of Thrones fighting over a gold-plated comb.
Hell of a save that.
Even the obligatory mass brawl was pathetic. Jackson needs to step up and wind someone up or this game is going nowhere.
Important we try as hard as we possibly can to disallow this goal.
That’s definitely getting chopped off. Shame as it would have topped off another mega performance
Strikers getting booked for defenders kicking them on a follow through will always be dumb
Spurs about to be goal difference away from being 16th after 30 games of a season. I can't say I've ever seen them be this bad.
Robert Sanchez
Fucking mongol
Clear foul, that. Not far off a red card
I normally stick up for refs, but Pawson is a useless coward and has been for years. Sarr should be off there for two yellows (dive and then bulldozing high through Caicedo) but instead he's given a goal on field.
I’m hoping for the referees sake that he took that long as he was deliberating whether it was a red or a yellow
Postecoglou is done, for what it's worth. Giving it to your own fans is the end.
