I don't drink that often now, maybe once a week. I am going to Benidorm for Cheltenham week though so definitely going to feel a shell by the end of that.

Are you going to tell me that going somewhere other than Cheltenham, for 'Cheltenham week', is a thing?
I drank last night properly and the sleep is just a nightmare. 4 hours sleep and 3 separate pisses. What's the point.
Crucially, no horses in Benidorm. Just donkeys.
When I'm drinking I like to do it from about 5pm to 7pm. Not even a sign of a hangover then.
Is 1:45pm too early to crack one open on a Friday? I've got a fridge full of beer staring at me.
You own the company don't you? Why are you asking us?
1:45 on a Friday sounds pretty optimal to me.
I'm going for a few competition beers this evening to see if they make the grade as soon as I land in the door and get my drinking shorts on, RIP.
Even though it's handy drink at home, I do like to get out the odd evening for a yarn and to hear a few lies at the bar. Every 5 to 6 weeks she'll drop me down, which is plenty.
Are you staying in a brothel?
Working at a pub that’s nearby to Cheltenham during that week was awful. Made my coke addiction look calm. Never tipped either.
Only time I drink is if we do a wine flight at a wanky restaurant, meaning I have zero tolerance and always get quite drunk.

Last time I went I stayed there for 7 euros a night![]()
I’m fucking thick and thought you were talking about Cheltenham so imagine my surprise when the page is in Spanish. I know trains are expensive these days but…
Lunchtime drinking at a bar is definitely the best for me nowadays as I grow older and more grumpy.
People are typically not bladdered or spitting in your face whilst talking. Nobody too aggressive, a calm and jovial atmosphere with mainly pensioners watching horse racing.
4 or 5 pints, a little pub meal, and then home by around 6pm before the lunatics start to arrive or before there's a chance of getting attacked on the way home.
If it's after 6pm, I'll probably be drinking at home with either a bit of tv or some tunes.
A big change since before lockdown, where I was out on average 3 times a week on a work-night, sometimes having a lock in at the local. Walking home at 3am with about 4-5 hours sleep for work is mad in your late 30s.
