Heavyweight probably needs to go back to 15 rounds [or more] if that's the modern version of it. Rounds 1-5 should probably have been scored 0-0 [bet Usyk got all of them even though Fury was bossing the fight]. All aboard the Itauma bus.

Surprised at the reaction here, I thought Usyk won convincingly.

Same. Thought I was watching a completely different fight when I came on here

Not sure either of them really landed anything of note the entire fight. Fury's plan seemed to be to contain and use his weight from time to time, it seemed to work and then every now and then he'd go too much on the back foot or do something stupid like switching stance. Thought he 'controlled' more rounds but at the same time didn't do all that much and lost control at times, to an extent. I guess it was a bit of a Holyfield style fight, the margin being wider than last time seems a bit off. If his plan was to outbox him and go to the cards then he deserves the outcome, but I guess that's what you get when you get two back foot fighters, which is clearly the dominant style of fighting, even if it is not actually entertaining.

Queenberry chief Frank Warren said to BBC Radio 5 Live: "One judge here did not give Tyson a round from round six onwards, that's nuts. It is mad. Oscar De La Hoya had it one round from me.

Oh god please no Fury v Joshua now.

The way those cards have gone is mental. Fury ahead on all cards after 5, 4-1 on one of them and then pretty much every round goes to Usyk. Fury absolutely battered him in at least one of those later rounds and appears to have been robbed of it by the late flurry theory. 2 punches and 0.5 power punches per round was the statistical margin towards Usyk over the fight, who was always going to work more and bring less power, that's nothing and in no way representative of that sort of broad-based wide margin decision. It was a pretty poor fight though. Fury should call it a day.

I always think as a challenger you need to put the champion down once if not twice if you are letting it go to the cards.

Just, always seems that the judges will favour the champion unless it’s really obvious.

It was a draw, if not a narrow win for either side. No chance they give it to the challenger in those circumstances and rightly so.

Now, just give us Fury vs AJ. We don't need part 3.

Agree with this, which, going back in time is what made Fury's win over Klitschko so remarkable.

If Fury and AJ do fight they'd better do it at Wembley and not in the fucking kingdom. Open air, free to air.

I don't quite think Fury's been in a serious mood since the belts were stripped off him. Sure, the Wilder fights were interesting but that might've been partly down to Wilder putting him down. This rivalry with Usyk is far too matey. Like two blokes who have settled for sand money and spectacle.

I mean, they’re both similar styles. It’s never going to be great match up. Wilder was a great match up for fans against Fury (and would be the same if it was Usyk)

Fury fights are fun when it’s against a big guy that he can dance around. When he’s the one having to use reach and his size it’s boring as fuck.

I think he made a massive mistake by not clinching and cheap shotting Usyk more.

I had a draw but the way the commentators were taking about Usyk I figured it was going to go that way. Usyk just has too much stamina for Fury.

Just seen the highlights of the Opetaia fight, comedy reffing. Probably shouldn't have let that guy carry on after the first knockdown and definitely should have stepped in whilst he was slumped on the ropes prior to the final punch which knocked him out cold.

He can step up to heavy and fight Moses.

I'm so confused. Is KSI, a mid-30s decent level boxer wanting to fight a retired footballer in his 40s?

He's just a YouTuber in need of clicks and attention. Which you'd think Wayne Bridge would not be the answer to, but here we are, a load of 30+ year old men talking about it.

This Dubois replacement they’ve plucked from the Congolese jungle is fucking massive. He looks like Mark Henry. I wouldn’t want to be Parker’s face if this cunt lands something. A fair amount of money has come in for this guy this evening. It might not be the straightforward fight it seemed on paper.

Some interesting scoring in the fight just now.

    118-110 from Judge 1
    114-115 from Judge 2
    Judge 3: fuck it, draw

Yeah, Steve Bunce very exercised by it on five live.

I only saw a few of the middle rounds so didn't think it was quite the one way traffic job that they did, but I reckon there might have been a few points for the name for our lad.

Apparently he broke his hand. If that was around the fourth or fifth round then it explains how the fight went downhill for him from there. He bossed it early doors but really didn’t deserve a draw there.

We’ve got a late replacement from Doncaster here against Shakur. I don’t hold a lot of hope for the lad.

Can he fight Usyk? He's massively improved since his world champ days, but always has the feel of not being that guy when it comes to the crunch.

Agreed. The boxing quality and chess game from both was just beautiful.

Bivol beat Canelo quite easily with boxing intelligence and potshots. Canelo destroyed Kovalev, a physically bigger man, with power, distance and timing, who many thought was a killer like Beterbiev.

Beterbiev is a monster and walks most people down with his clever footwork, head movement, consistent pressure, and superhuman power.

To have two high level thinkers in the ring together is simply majestic. Higher level than GGG v Canelo. In my opinion. Bivol is the real master of boxing.

He doesn't get enough credit because he's shy and understated. Canelo has the social media presence, but it's wrong.

Great fight between Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach Jnr. Ends in a draw.

Wow. Haven't seen anyone do that to Davis. Roach Jnr showed great skills and a hell of a chin.

That needs to be a rematch.

Can't get enough of Chris Eubank Jr sticking it on dodgy promoters like Eddie Hearn (Eddie Hills).

Never been a fan of his boxing career because he should have done better but this side of him is something I can get on board with 100%.

Laughing also at how much he's under Conor Benn's skin like his old man got under Nigel Benn's skin. Without doing anything really.

As if this fight isn't a farce already, Eubank has missed weight and told us his dad thinks he's an embarrassment.

I also hope Eubank wins. Not sure he will though. Weight an issue both ways it seems. Benn does seem an absolute knobhead.
