My Game Pass Ultimate ran out, so stumped up £75 for three years of Indian GP Core and a month of UK Ultimate. All set until July 2026.

A new PC. Amazon appear to be speedrunning the delivery. Originally it was to be with me Thursday but it's coming within hours.

Urgh I really want a "new" (by which I mean used/refurbished) office chair. My Steelcase Leap is starting to look ropey. Can't really justify the outlay at the moment though, with saving up for a car and the holiday.

This was about €450 (from my home office work budget) so not crazy. It was €650 on Amazon brand new.

I bought one from Amazon that you put in hot water so it then moulds to your teeth. Worked great.

I need a mom proof tv for her bedroom. Can you get smaller than 32 inch that is smart?

Argos has some 24 inchers, here's the cheapest:

There has been a spate of thefts from the mail room in the building I live in, and I had an Amazon parcel with about 100 quids worth of stuff go missing last week (it was definitely delivered). Told Amazon it never arrived and they've refunded me no questions asked. Also returned a couple of Amazon things recently and they said to not bother actually returning it.

This all makes sense with the scale of their operation, but I do wonder how much you could take the piss with it.

My brother ordered a £550 graphics card from them and it hadn't arrived after 14 days so he got in touch with them. They sent out a new one and then they both arrived. He contacted them and they also told him to keep them.

I was once reading a Kindle in the bath, fell asleep and dropped it in the water.

Told them a nephew left it outside and it rained and they sent me a new one.

This was years ago but yeah, they seemingly don't care too much.

Why would they refund that when the fake reason would still have been your fault?

PC Reddit has been onto a big scam you can pull on Amazon like this. Idea is you order the GPU you want to upgrade to and make sure it's the same manufacturer of the one you have. When it comes you swap them over and send your one back to them saying it doesn't fit the case or something. If it were a PC specialist store they'd clock the difference in them, but all laddo at Amazon is likely looking at is, is there an ASUS GPU in there? Yep, all good.

So many have bought a good deal on Amazon on there and found a much lower spec GPU in the actual box.

I didn't know they even did non-smart TVs any more.

You'd be better off with a non-smart TV and a Fire stick in most cases though. The software on TVs is always shit and so is the hardware inside.

I get emails from a certain website due to my unhealthy obsession with shoes but it does help me realise that there's clearly liquidity in the market but only for dumb rich people.

This Supreme x Damien Hirst jacket doing for 800 quid after tax+ shipping for example:
