This can’t be far off the worst FIFA of all time, surely? The game play is completely broken. Evolutions are broken. Content is the same players recycled every single year. SBCs are ridiculous value.
I have no idea if I’m stuck in some sort of weird Coventry wormhole but I’ve played against someone with a Coventry themed team 6+ in a row in friendlies (different person most times)

The common golds you need are either extinct or 5k so at best the whole squad costs about 30k to do or at worst, you can't do it.

They'll need to do a lot more than that. Some decent and grindable packs in the SBC section along with decently priced SBC's would be a start.
Oh and I called it early so may be stubbornly sticking to that view, but Rush needs firing into the Sun.
Im still playing it purely for the evo's but they have limited how high they can go now, which is silly.

Has everyone binned this off now? I’m still watching Nep’s content for the lols but it basically looks about as shit as it could be in every aspect. Appalling evo’s, massively overpriced SBC’s, no menu grind to speak of. Etc.
I got back into it for a little bit after a break and have been playing some more over the last couple of days. The new gameplay patch has improved things a bit but the fodder levels are still shite. They gave everyone a Jude Bellingham card, for some reason.
Just logged on to get Bellingham and was staggered how cumbersome the menus are. Everything takes an unnecessary amount of time and don’t get me started on what they’ve done to player picks.
Did a few SBC’s, felt my brain bleeding out of my ears and canned it.
I havent played since the start of the month, but I will give it another go over the next few weeks. I played last night and the gameplay felt good. I was twisting up people with left stick and it felt great. Have another go at the Wolves Evo
I've been playing the Madden version of Ultimate Team this year. I'm much less competitive at it than FUT, but am enjoying it all the same.
The glitches are just as hilarious though. For example there is a glitch in-game that means if you have a left handed quarterback and he tries to run to the left after he gets the ball, he gets a bad animation that slows him right down. Well they have just released a special card of perhaps the most famous leftie QB(Michael Vick) and instead of fixing the mentioned bug, they've just made him right handed for reasons.
They are currently doing a nice winter promo though. For December you can earn a separate currency in game and you have a choice whether you use that currency to buy/upgrade select players now, or use them to buy "presents" that are mystery and only open on christmas day.
I never bought it.
I did dabble on the web app early on and expected to be booted from that ages ago. Bounce in and out of Neps vids. Did start messing with the app again around Black Friday when they did the daily log in to see what it was all about.
Not enough to entice me to the game but I might just mess around off and on until TOTS and see how good a team I can build without the game.

Any past and present gold Wolves player will do. The database for them is tiny. Its pretty much the current Wolves squad plus all portuguese players who are not called Ronaldo.
