Would be a good time to have a system that attracts and maybe even actively seeks highly productive young professionals and rejects good for nothings. Maybe you already have such a system (doubt it), what do I know.

About ten years ago UCL did a study that showed recent European immigrants making a small contribution to the economy, and third world immigrants being a massive, massive drain. This is reflected in every country that has bothered to collect the information, most notably Denmark, which is wealthier than us to begin with. The information on contributions made by the same people here is widely available, and everything points to the negative purely in terms of direct economic transfers (before you factor in all of the other costs).
Half of the 700000 Bangladeshis in this country don't work, most of those that do are in low wage occupations, and half of them live in the most expensive city in the country. Whose pensions are they paying?
Yeah, I'm not sure the financial contribution of Asylum Seekers is the best way of looking at this.
And it may be that immigration won't work and we'll still be fucked by the retiring boomers. It's still what they're shooting for.

If 700000 Bangladeshis are moving into your country as asylees, then the asylum system needs to be revamped.
They aren't illegals or asylum seekers. These are people welcomed here to pay our pensions.
There was a good example of this the other week in a story about care workers being ripped off. Now that is obviously bad for him, but look at what the policy was doing before the government closed it off. In order to save the government paying a British person an extra three quid an hour, they will invite a Pakistani family of six over. How much to house and educate those four kids (probably got some inbreeding-related health issues in there as well)? The main 'breadwinner' is only twenty years off retirement as well, when he will get a pension, which his own contributions will not have paid for. It's like a Ponzi scheme except designed to deliberately lose money.
That is a scammy/stupid system alright.
They're now setting fire to hotels housing migrants and barricading the doors in Rotherham. Get the fucking army on the streets for christ sake.
They should all get lengthy prison sentences for attempted murder if that's true. Fucking animals.
Better get those surveys out again Yev.![]()
Do what needs to be done. it might not be nice but protect the future.
This is the rub of it and the end game of this argument is much less immigration than we're currently seeing.
I, like many others, have been happy to go along with the "we need immigration to pay our pensions" line as it sort of makes sense, right? All young English people want to do is fuck around on Instagram so let's get some hard working foreigners in to do the legwork.
Then I bothered to look at the numbers and they are absolutely fucking insane, with businesses taking the complete piss. 2023 saw something in the region of 100,000 visas for care workers and 120,000 for their families. The businesses involved get to pay cheap wages and society pays for everything else. It's a morally bankrupt racket and it needs to stop.
It does present quite the quandry for the left. Do you want wage suppression and lots of immigration or fairer wages and a lot less immigration?
It doesn't even achieve that, as the discourse is all completely muddled. It is people taking the piss with capitalism (coupled with a system that facilitates said piss taking) that is driving these crazy numbers.
If these absolute cretins were setting fire to the drive of Mr Brithington-Smythe, due to his 68 care homes being full of exploited cheap foreign labour it would still be horrific, but at least much better directed.
I think he's talking about the surveys I posted. He may well have the number wrong, but I've reached the point with him where I don't care to check now as he's gone full Harold.
It's sad and what's sadder is that there are so many people outside of this little haven of the internet we have that are like that.
Magic really wants to be put through another window.
I see. So you're saying the experience/opinion/actions of a few is representative of the many?
Game, set and match.
For fear of bringing it all up again wasn't the issue during Covid that we didn't have many actual facts (due to the emerging nature of it) but what we did have was being treated as such and laws created/protestations made as a result.
I'm particularly thinking of the nadir during the whole South African variant debacle, where even Caprice was more right than the public facing voice of our scientists.
Let's just roll with the sentiment in the first half of your first sentence.
I wonder if Taz can smell anything yet the stupid cunt![]()
I dont think people on the left or more moderate people want unlimited migration though
Id happily see the UK taking 70k asylum seekers if they genuinely need help. We should then be processing their claims as quickly as possible and if they are entitled to stay here get them working. Than taking in the 700k migrants who come in legally and help business to keep wages low because they have lobbied the Tory government for the last 15 years.
Aaaaaah what a day! I've been in Sunderland and Rotherham. Taking A STAND against the enemy.
More tomorrow as well chaps...
Fucking state of the snowflake melty wax candle little soft arse cunt

Say what you like about Joseph Goebbels but he didn't whine about his kids' holiday being ruined when shit got real, he just killed them all instead. Far right hype men aren't what they used to be.
They were doing RACE ROADBLOCKS in Middlesbrough.
Wonder if they'll get the same punishments as Just Stop Oil?
Well yes, clearly they absolutely should.
Why are all these asylum hotels Holiday Inns? Is this another scam? Are the government paying those rates you see on the back of the door?
Should they? JSO atleast have good intentions, even if they are complete cunts.
A lot of hotels claimed it was compulsory to take asylum seekers if the government instructed it but I don't doubt it was the usual fast track contract for friends bullshit.
The government will absolutely be paying for it whether they deem it compulsory or not though.
Radisson Blu bought over a hotel at Perth train station and it hasn’t opened to the public at all since the takeover. Just immigrants in there for well over a year. Must be getting paid a wad
Yeah, they'll be able to charge the whole thing out at 100% occupancy for 100% [probably more] price, and then employ virtually nobody to change the sheets once a month.
It was costing eight million quid a day this time last year, but they have since flushed a few hotel guests out into the community, at which point the money starts to come out of a Different Pot so doesn't exist and the Home Office can claim to have saved money. Can't wait for my taxes to go up.
That's the whole reason for all this, people are making an absolute fortune creaming off it.
Everything in your brain is grifting.
YOU GET BACK! he shouts, while backing away from the policeman who just told him to get back.
I'm a twit
