Cheers boss, and without a degree or relevant industry background. What on earth were they thinking.

Disabled toilets are comfortably the worst option hygiene wise. Gender neutral is the way to go.
Well done MJ, though the board routinely mocks qualified doctors so not sure what support and encouragement you expected.
The only respectable doctor is one of thuganomics.
Hope you come back woke.
Does twink mean something else in Scotland? Googling this has led me down an admittedly not unexpected rabbithole which has ended at my discovery of 'bears of colour', what a world.
No, it does not. And lol at you pretending not to know.
Enjoy your ADHD undermining your studies at every opportunity. At least as a mature student, you're less likely to copy someone else. A route that, let's be honest, I was well on until I dropped out at 20.
I actually thought it was about time you got a degree...of self respect!
Yeah so it's really hard doing this and working and having a family and just trying to stay alive in general. I could cry.
How long is the course?
3 years.![]()
Cry in front of your professor. That usually helps.
What is the degree on, again?
Masters in Counselling.
It doesn't help that I feel on the brink of redundancy every day, my fiance wants to have a family and get married, and it's hard to support a neurodiverse pre-teen navigate big school.
Edit; I have no support because I cut off my wretched family, who weren't supportive anyway. On the face of it I'm doing fine but internally I feel like I'm heading towards many, many changes that could disrupt not just my studies but my life.
It's been a few months at most, right? You will adapt on time, just hold on tight.
This is exactly the kind of clear thought and planning I'd want from a Counsellor.
You're probably also doing way more work, or expecting yourself to be doing way more, than you would if you were a straight out of school student.
Stop showing up other days, see how long it takes for someone to realize
Just find somewhere else pronto. I've worked for 2 separate employers that have done this. For one, they had competition for the service they provide, and it was death within a year. Customers really, really don't like it.
For the other, who have a captive market, they saved a fortune but also stopped making anywhere near as much money.
Either way: run.

Outsourcing managers, now that is something that people might actually support.
I would if I cared about my career, but I don't and I'm paid handsomely to do nothing as it stands. Once it starts to get tasty either through micromanagement, whip cracking or closing it down then I'll put the trainers on. We have enough existing work to maintain turnover/profit for at least 18 months without me lifting a finger.
The problem with these capitalist freaks is it's never enough, the reason my boss went to work for another unit is because they wanted to double turnover and he said it would put him in the ground trying lollollolo.
Anyone want to hire a care-free sales guy for 4 days a week who is looking to quit the industry in 3 years?![]()
I had to quit. Was fun whilst it lasted.
And I guess go me for even getting this far.
The course or the job?
The course, I assume. But don't you also hate your job?
I was unexpectedly made redundant and am in a crisis trying to find another job before I lose everything. Couldn't continue under those circumstances...sorry these circumstances.
Ah shit, I didn't think the redundancy had happened already. Sorry to hear. Good luck on the job search.
Good you didn't tell that other job that you would be gone half the time studying.
Nah but sorry to hear that. I hope that things turn up soon for you.
