Yeah I can see him retiring in a few years and dominating Sim Racing. Seems to prefer it weirdly

Quite clearly the greatest racing driver of all time. In any format. Counting all forms of motorised racing.
Clearly head and shoulders above the current field but come on.
Up there in the GOAT HoF with Reece James and Ryan Gould.
His career and Vettels career have the chance to be very similar.
Vettel looked this dominant after a reg change, with a supposed good team mate being left in his dust. Until one day he wasn't.
He's clearly very good, but GOAT discussions need to wait until he's done. It could be that Red Bull can't give him a winning car after this season. He could move to Mercedes and struggle there. Maybe he goes on and wins 10 titles.
He's very good but he's not noticeably better than Hamilton, Schumacher, Prost, Senna etc.
Jim Clark is the goat.
I reckon he will do a Raikkonen. Sack it off for a few years so he can experience other series and then come back.
Look at the size difference. RB1 v RB20

Completely missed the news that Ford are coming back in 2026 to be the Red Bull engine supplier.
So for 2026, we'll have Ferrari, Merc, Renault, Ford/Red Bull, Honda and Audi? That'll be sweet.
Totally missed Aston going to Honda too.
I don't think you should do computer-assisted burnouts, lads.
Ralphy Schumacher is a buftie.
Ocon to Haas is a rumour that's gathering pace. Would leave KMag without a drive, probably deservedly; he's been pretty much outclassed by Hülkenburg throughout.
You need a K Mag in the field
I think we could well see some Perez rumours ramping up soon. There was talk that his new deal has an out clause even as soon as this summer break, should he be X points behind Max. Given he's already lost some 100 points to him since added in with the fact that, the Red Bull is no longer dominant, he could be out.
I wonder if there's anything in there that says he could be punted down to VCARB instead.
Why would they want to get him out? It always reads like fanfic when people suggest it.
71 points ahead of the Fiat 500s, easy constructors win, four more years for Checo.
Even Button is saying they should bin him if he no scores in Hungary.
It's more with an eye to 2025. Get probably Lawson in and up to speed, ready for an actual constructors challenge next year. They should have enough with Max to cover the others off this time.
His last few races:
8th, retired, retired, 8th, 7th (plus 8th in Sprint) and 17th.
Both McLarens and Ferraris are ahead of him in the standings with both Mercs breathing down his neck right now.
He's not picking up the points and the rest of the pack seem to be getting closer to Red Bull. They'll be fine in the constructors this year but I can see them sweating looking ahead at 2025.
Fine but the next guy won't do any better. No one will ever get close to Max.
The whole thing about Checo was at least he's picking up regular points here and there.
He's not doing that any more...
Probably because the car is worse.
It's not bad enough that he should be behind Piastri and soon Russell though.
He shouldn’t be struggling to be top 10. But, this is what you get if you don’t want a driver who can push your number 1 in any meaningful way and the field closes up a bit.
The only people who could take it to Verstappen in a meaningful way would be Leclerc, Norris, Russell and Hamilton.
I dunno, maybe they'll sack Perez, but modern F1 is so immensively conservative when it comes to drivers that I wouldn't get my hopes up.
They rated Perez too highly. How many of the drivers. How many of the drivers with over 250 race starts can compete with the new lads? Very few can.

I read the headline to this and assumed the other Schumacher was making a full recovery.
Waff getting very excited at these practice times.
Max did lock up on his fast lap attempt at the end there, but they have half a second to everyone else. Unless someone else is set up for race pace over qualy pace then there's a 3 way for the win.
Just don't fuck up the strategy when Logi Bear or Strulovitch send it into a wall.
It’s all about quali here, isn’t it? Not much taking over ability around Hungary. If I remember correctly the undercut is super powerful though so hopefully no more reacting too late.
no Norris bottle job in Q3 or off the line tomorrow and McLaren have a real chance in the constructors
This gyro camera is brilliant.
Perez potentially saving Russell there. This rain needs to either come or go
It's almost like I've been saying he's wank for years.
In the infamous words of Barry Chuckle. Oh dear, oh dear.
Lawson is there. He couldn't do any worse...
That's one of the most sudden changes in post-rain track conditions I think I've seen in years.
Haha bye bye Tory boy. Can’t believe they put him out that early
Was it Silverstone one year where half the field abandoned the lap, but the final sector was giving multiple seconds back, so if you carried on you improved massively? This felt like that.
Was that really used tyres for Piastri? If it is then he’s absurdly quick
Hamilton got away with one there. That was close
Hamilton a very lucky boy there. 0.010s.
Sargeant, as of late, sounds way too petulant for how bad/mediocre a driver he is.
