Im probably making this up but like heading as been nerfed since Woug game out. Cant win anything in the air now. Not even just a simple route one down to Giroud, Drogba or Joselu with the defender goal side.
Fron rewards i got Adams 96 who is excellent. Suits my play style really well as a sole DM. Also Gonzalez 95 but he isnt better than Havertz 94 on the left wing.
Didn't think I'd get Puskas but Fox told me you get points for doing WL.

Got qualified and I've got to 4-6 tonight. Really should have done better as I played two guys I knew I was better than but kept making stupid mistakes in defence and attack.
Although I did get one gifted win in that.
I believe even if I lose all the remaining games I get 1000 XP which will be enough to get Puskas when doing the Icon kit objectives.
If you go in and give games away/back out you will still get a point.

Team Brazil into the WL and sit 6-4. Defensively extremely suspect. I also cannot get on with this 95 Richarlison at all. However I've lost 3 of those 4 games having scored 5 goals in each. Problem I find is all of the midfield and forwards are kinda skinny, minus Richarlison. They're being bullied off the ball and can't push people off the ball when they have it.
If I went 6-4 through the next 10 I'd get Gomez but I'm not sure I can with the current set up. Feels very tough to stop people scoring. I've been bullied by the new Wout at least twice too.
Who you got in the middle? Birthday Casemiro might be decent as a stay back CDM. Probably cheap at this point.
For now Gomes and Bruno G. I do have Casemiro up to 95, but not with the final pace boost. Still tempted to throw him in mind you.
French evo seems....meh.
Gallagher seems cheap enough and goes into the evo.
Edit: Euro Todibo seems like a solid option.

Ran Wout for 40 odd games now and he isnt the one for me. Cant consistently win basic headers or hold the ball up.
With Drogba, i can launch the ball from a goal kick and if it goes in his direction. He will win it half the time. Wout wins one in every four and when he does win it. It isnt going to his team mate.
I think the sweet spot is between 6'2 and 6'5 with aerial+. Anything taller than that, and your dont seem to get the leap. In pro clubs
When you make your build taller than 6'4, you cant get max jumping stats. Maybe the same rules apply in FUT even if it says you have 99 jumping

Just had an infuriating WL game.
Was 3-0 up, he then made it 3-1.
I proceeded to make it 4-1 and then crumbled. Ended up losing 5-4.
I had an xG of 6.0 to his 3.1.

Got to 6-8 and I'm going to gift wins now.
Had I been able to get the next rank with 8 wins or had a couple more games in my pocket I'd have kept going.
Annoyingly when I was gifting wins two dickheads quit at 0-0.
Had they done things right I could have gone for the 9.

Got in from work to everyone in bed so decided to finish off champs. In came Casemiro, a bought TOTS Savio and brought in Bobby Firmino moments to replace Richarlison.
Sudden and immediate uptick in performance. I went from 6-4 to 12-4 without breaking a sweat. I then switched in the main team and won the next two with ease. Greaseman is filthy. Then came a loss in what was perhaps the most epic game I've played of this. End to end attacking from both. Constant lead changes and a 6-5 loss at the death. I won the next 3 to take me to the last game for 16 wins but just couldn't get it done. It was a close game but in truth my opponent deserved it.
Not a single special card from any pick or pack from both champs and the Brazil objectives. Red picks gave me the usual Di Maria, Stanway and Golovin nonsense in the first pick, though replace Di Maria with Musiala in the 2nd one and that's a big help for next week. TOTS 3 pack got me Rice, Debinha and Koulibaly.
All in all that's probably the best mini session of this or any version of this I think I've played. I just wish I could play like that all of the time.

Greasy coming in has put Theo back to full chem and boy does he feel so much better after weeks of playing him on 1.
That 95 Casemiro when fully defender evo'd up is amazing as a stay back CDM. He has the bulk to bully people and has PS+ for Block, Bruiser and Intercept.
Meanwhile Richarlison has already gone into the Jota SBC.

I put Dino arms in goal to test him as it's been a few weeks and a few rating bumps since I used him last. Iker will return. Just Weah feels a little off from the starters. Had to try him out. Elsewhere, Silva will be replaced by Jota/Guler and then I think the team is set barring any big SBCs/pulls. Also depends on how good this 95 Bisseck is going to feel.
I do find myself tempted by Cafu, with fodder decreasing in price he's lost 400k worth to complete him. There's still 5 days to get him too. Though it's still so pricey that it just seems wrong to do.

Not letting Paletools use him, he's gone right into the evo.

Strange that one. I had to double take in the menus because he wasn't there when I signed in. Looks good, but will be a bitch to link. No doubt thats why he's cheap.
Took my team from above and dropped out Weah and Silva for Stanisic and Barcola respectively. The game immediately gave me Jesus Navas twice in 15 minutes, so maybe they really dont want me to use him, but that extra height on Stanisic comes in very handy. Barcola feels lovely on the ball as ever.
After a few games I ended up putting Pedri back in the bench for De Paul. He just feels so much more solid in the tackle. Going forwards both are very good indeed. Pedri just got dinged up to 5/5* as I type this so maybe I should revisit.
The great WL form continued. I think I was around 820 skill rating and have moved up to 917. Even held my own for about 75 mins against a player that would turn out to be over 1k rating. I've even managed to get Bisseck on late in games to kick his evo along.
Ticked off Gallagher and the last of Jota and then opted for the MYM/P2G pick. A few Liverpool players in it but no dice for me. My choice was Almiron, J. David or Theate. Davids card is quite nice but I've just seen Messi stick a 2nd in against Canada so no further upgrades coming.
Club is now empty of all golds above 84, but for one Neymar. I keep hold of him usually in case he finally fits in some monster evo, but there's temptation to exchange him and start the PPs over again.
Did De Paul get +1 for yesterday? I thought he would end up wtih one of the 5*. Definitely not going to be as nimble as Pedri but it looks much better overall IMO.

That Thuram honestly looks quite crap for the effort involved. Especially when everyone's french team will already have Barcola/MBAPPE as their forwards.
Might be worth doing the play objectives in Qualy and then the 4 wins for the fodder packs. But even then it depends what's going to be in packs.
