I 'liberated' a "New 3DS XL" from work as they haven't been used since the first lockdowns. Was impressed with how easy it was to add CFW and an alternative store to. Got it for the kids, any games come highly recommended. Obvs grabbed all the pokemon possible.

Maybe. I do feel like they'd use a Zelda/Mario to move a new system, though. Metroid doesn't have that kind of clout.
I reckon we're just going to get a very similar device but with upgraded specs. The Switch itself is properly perfect for Nintendo and their games. So I could easily see a GTA style situation where we get it again on the new thing but looking a lot more shiny.

Yep, kinda. That happened with the OG. With this he got the text, carried on playing for a bit wandering aimlessly then had the whole chat about indefinite break etc. He knows he's fucked, apparently the ex-Twitch guy who kicked this all off had a 4 year NDA, which now lapsed.
There must be some good evidence about for him to be cut from his 'own' company like that. If he was innocent he'd be countering with lawsuits and statements etc, but the silence and now 'break' speaks volumes.
Presumably Twitch have access to every message he's ever sent and who he sent them to.

Got my RG35XX H. It seems cool. Got a new 512GB SD for the switch, so put the old 200GB one in it. Just setting up muOS on it.
I've seen one of those in the local CeX. On closer inspection, it's an RG35XX. The GameBoy looking one which is not a form factor I'm big on.
With the XX, they came out with two new versions that look the same. So there is the original, the 2024 one and the Plus. My understanding is the plus is the one to get.
Ordering from AliExpress was ace though, ordered it late Saturday night, was here on Thursday last week. I just didn't get around to opening it until tonight.
So after installing muOS on my new big SD, I installed Knulli on the one that came with it, just to check it out, and I think I might prefer it, which is a bit annoying having spent an evening setting stuff up.
You know the setting up of ROMs and emulators is the best bit about ROMs and emulators.
