It's such an unwieldy creature. Imagine having normal sized arms that can do useful things, and then also fucking massive arms with nuclear warheads on the end.
They don't noticeably weaken, etc. with age but eventually the size of their shell kills them as try to moult.
Once they evolve past that it's presumably lobster monster disaster movie apocalypse all the way.

When I was a kid Lamb Shank was the cheap shit bit of meat that the plebs ate, these days you'll find no decent restaurant without it. These giant lobsters could pull the same trick in reverse.

A few weeks back I changed my headlamp bulb in the work car park. It takes about 5-7 minutes all being well. Within about 1:30 of starting, a group of men had gathered behind me to watch. No comments, no assistance offers, just a few nods and puffing of lips before I started to put the lamp back in and they dispersed again. Men like to watch men do things.
