Seen that mentioned a few times; perhaps they should have, although my feeling working in a hospital is the police would've just contacted the same managers who were already covering it up and they'd continue to cover it up.
I also cannot impress upon people how terrifying the threat of GMC referral and whilsteblowing against a trust really is. If a trust properly goes after you as a doctor it literally ruins your life forever.

Yep I can actively say that our Confidential Helpline calls, which are essentially the whistleblowing line, are taken VERY seriously. They take hours also as we require everything.

How the fuck has Birmingham Council managed to go bankrupt? I get it when it's Thurrock Council. Thurrock isn't a proper place. It's just a shopping centre and an Overflow Council House for East London. Birmingham "The Largest Local Authority in Europe" Council should have a bit more about them.
I can't wait to find out what type of irresponsible investment in fraudulent businesses has gone on this time.
