How so?
I'm a twit
I'm half expecting to get home tonight and find the Pif have bought my flat.
You have to give it to Boehly, he knows how to grift.
No more 8 year contracts? How about this then? Although, that said, this is just a continuation of Abramovich era policy, where their network of fully paid up agents [Mendes et al] could always be relied on to shift out deadwood at baffling prices [cf the career of David Luiz and all the China stuff].
Tend to think the more of this that happens the better for the competitiveness of the game at the top, bizarrely.
It's not exactly new, all the top clubs have had to get inflated fees from their bent contacts in the past, just that back then when Utd were doing it with their loveable gammon-led Sunderlands and Evertons, Chelsea are now doing it with the hairy brown terrorists. Suck it up, you fucking whities.
You can still do 8 contracts. It’s just the transfer fee will be spread over a max of 5 years instead of the contract length
Koulibaly, Kante and Havertz all leaving frees up £850k a week on wages. The fact they’re also getting £60m from Arsenal for Havertz and £25m from a Saudi club for Koulibaly is the icing on the cake. £35m for Kovacic to City seems like it’s done and I assume Man Utd pay around £55m and get Mason Mount. Minted.
Yeah, so there's not really any point/benefit to them now. You'll still need to give a player a new/better contract if they turn out to be good, even if they are on a long one, and if they're shite you're just stuck in Bogardeville for longer.
Obviously Borgardeville, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia SA1 FU2 is less of a problem than perhaps the original was.
Tying Trashford down to £375k a week? I fucking love this game.
I don't understand why in the world Arsenal are trying to sign Havertz. He hasn't been very good for Chelsea, he's not really a striker and even if he were he'd still not beat Jesus (or, arguably Nketiah?) to the starting spot. And even more importantly it's not really what they need? Meanwhile they are haggling for 20m here or there for Declan Rice which is exactly what they need. What am I missing?
He's an absolutely class player who is bypassed by modern elite tactics. He should probably go and play in the Championship or something and score 50 a season and make another 50. Actually, he could just stay at Chelsea and do that.
Always thought Havertz would be good in the Firmino 9 type mould, which, given Arsenal have Saka and Martinelli for goals from out wide, probably suits them.
That’s how he’s played for 3 years though lol
Geezer's numbers for a far superior team make the likes of Zaha and Barnes look like Messi. £60m for him and Mount and it's the Saudis inflating the market and ruining FM
Mendy's gone now so they'll be clinging on to Kepa.
I'm a twit
And Onana, surely?
Who or what is a Jason Tindall?
Newcastle ass man.
Not when he has all those Champions League hands to shake.
Was going to come in and ponder whether Saudi had any interest in taking Thiago and then I go and read a rumour in some click bait rag.
Looks like Saudis style of courting women appeals more to Thomas Partey.
Nkunku to Chelsea is done. 16 in 25 in the Bundesliga and he's a speed merchant? Might not even need to get the doctor in for him.
His eligibility for the operation is currently being determined, I'll give you news as soon as I have it.
Arsenal in for Ajax's Timber.
Sounds like Lukaku wants his lawyer involved because Chelsea won’t loan him to Milan
Lukaku greets Nkunku outside the operating theatre in July:
This might sound insane but I genuinely wonder how much the constant special cards in FIFA have contributed to that Nkunku transfer.
Yeah it does.
I've heard Boehly has entire fantasy team full of Nkunku.
Was Onana the one who failed a drugs test or some other sort of misdemeanor, which led to his departure from Ajax?
Yeah, took some of his wife's pills.
Can't remember what they were for, weight loss?
Idk where the myth they were weight loss pills came from but it's amazingly ubiquitous.
They were furosemide, which is not in itself a doping agent but can be used to mask the use of other drugs. It's a diuretic (makes you wee more). She was on it after her pregnancy, don't know exactly why. He claims he took them thinking they were headache tablets.

How was her birth?
After that thing with Darrell DK washing his clothes in dishwasher tablets, I'm inclined to believe all these drug cover stories are actually true.
They've got a Thai chairman, that doesn't count.
